I was taught as a political scientist that there is no such thing as facts. There are theories, I mean don't get me wrong, it is hard to disprove evolution and gravity, but both are still just theories. The same goes for God. Logic to you is not logic to others. What you consider to be fact, someone else considers 'whims and wishes'. For example, there are scientists who say that Native Americans came to North America via the 'ice bridge' and migrated south. Native Americans in the lower 48 believe that they always existed, and that the Eskimos and Native Americans found in the North were once their people, but because they were plagued with evil spirits, they gathered their strongest warriors and drove them to the frozen north.

There are many other stories like this, just because you believe one thing to be 'fact' doesn't make it a universal fact or a fact at all . . . I wouldn't make presumptions on peoples beliefs.

Also, just on a silly note, don't think people to be reasonable either, lol, there are people out there who believe the craziest things that they believe to be 'fact' that they can see as well.
