(commenting on a review of Jimmy Carter's book, "We can have peace in the Holy Land:A Plan that will work.")
It is amazing that this man became president, although there are others as bad and as naive. My personal opinion is he fell out of his baby carriage on his head. Arabs hate Jews and have been hating them for over 3000 years . If some of our idiot politicians read the Bible they would understand the real problems and support God`s people. The Israeli people should also read their Bible and return to God`s commandments and statutes before it is too late Thanks and God bless.

You know what? Screw you. Jimmy Carter is a Christian, and he's damn well a better Christian than you are. Jimmy Carter wants to stop the pointless fighting in the Middle East, because he practices the values of love and compassion that Christianity promotes. He is for peace. You are against peace. Fuck you.

And there were others worse and more naïve, like George W. Bush.

Wow, that was grown up.
Arabs hate Jews and have been hating them for over 3000 years .
Then why, for so long, were Jews far more welcome in Muslim lands than in Christian lands?
If some of our idiot politicians read the Bible they would understand the real problems and support God`s people.
If you read actual history, you would understand the real problems and support reason.

Oh, I see. We don't have peace in that part of the world because the Israelis aren't selling their daughters to be maidservants or sacrificing animals to cure diseases.
So are we to assume that you have a better solution? Maybe a "final solution"? You are part of the problem. You offer no concrete, realistic advice, just talking points from your delusional world.
I President Carter was dropped on his head, how do you explain "Dubya"? Drugs? Alcohol? Oh wait....
Jimmy Carter has a Nobel Peace Prize. When he was president, he negotiated a peace treaty between Egypt and Israel that lasts to this day. In other words, he knows something about the challenges to obtaining a lasting peace in the region.
What are your credentials?
But Carter was right. If you fundies would stop fighting and killing over the smallest difference, and actually paid attention to the fact that the religions are similar, the bloodshed would stop. Celebrate what they have in common, instead of getting into pissing contests over minute differences.
Anthony N. Scalco, you are a goddamned hypocrite.
You HAVE the Jews, and blame them for killing Jesus. The ONLY reason you want to see Israel prosper is because the Temple at Jerusalem has to be rebuilt before your precious Book of Revelation can come true.
Arabs hate Jews and have been hating them for over 3000 years
This works both ways. The Jews have always had a hatred for the Arabs as well.

The babble isn't the best source for politics. Who remembers the dark ages?
Let's not forget that about half of the problems and wars in the ME were started by the Jews. I find it hilarious and at the same time sad that you dumb fucks don't actually observe the news, you just take what supports your views and twist the rest. You are convinced the Jews are so perfect and holy that the Arabs have been the cause of all these problems, and the Jews don't have anything to do with it. The problem lies not in the Arabs alone, but in the Arabs, Jews, and Europeans. Yep, there, I said it. And for the record, I'm pro-Palestinian. They've been there for ages, since about the 3rd century CE, and they've been predominantly Muslims since about the 8th century CE. Politically, it belongs to the Arabs. Religiously, I don't give a shit who's sky daddy says they can have it. The land belongs to the Arabs, not the Jews. Deal with it.
So just because it may have been historically hard to reconcile differences between these peoples means that we shouldn't even try? We should just stand by and let them keep killing each other?
If people are at war, that is a real problem. That's all there is to it. Your Jesus told us to love our neighbor. It is not an act of love to stand back and let your neighbors kill each other. If you read the Bible and thought about it while you read it, thought about what it means and how it applies to the modern world, you might see how heartless your words are.
By the way, since I forgot this, Jimmy Carter is a much better xtian than about 3/4 of the morons that call themselves by that name in this nation. You can only dream about being Jimmy Carter. You're just pissed because he actually follows what jesus taught, and not just making shit up like you fucks do.

Carter never asked for religious creds before offering his help to anyone.
Arabs and Jews can get along as well, their GOVERNMENTS don't. Synagogues exist outside of Israel in the Middle East. There are Jews living in Arab lands. It is the Zions that have their panties in a twist over the Palestinians.
What "real problems" regarding the Bible? You mean the parts where God asked his people to perpetrate a genocide on the people of Canaan ? Because those people were a "problem" for the Isrealites? Even the innocent and precious unborn? "Everything that breathed " according to the Bible?
Not that you'd care, but most Biblical scholars agree that the accounts against the Canaanites are exaggerated. It's unclear whether they actually "offered up their children to Moloch": for example, it could have been a kind of initiation ritual instead. (Unfortunately, I can't find the original source of that now.)

Arabs hate Jews and have been hating them for over 3000 years
They did?
They had a strange form to express their hate then, during the time of the crusades.
While the "holy land" and especially Jerualem was ruled by muslims, Jews were tolerated and allowed to practice their religion (just like christians). They were only treated differently from muslims insofar as they had to pay special taxes.
The jews under muslim rule during this time often had a much better life than the jews in european countries (where the christin rulers imposed certain restrictions unto jews, for example, regarding jobs they were allowed to do and where greedy christian rulers (or neighbors) often would find ways to confiscate jewish property)
The whole thing just changed when the christian crusaders came to the holy land and massacred Jews as well as muslims
"Arabs hate Jews and have been hating them for over 3000 years."
Yeah, the irony of a Christian saying this is industrial-strength.
"The Israeli people should also read their Bible and return to God`s commandments and statutes before it is too late."
Man, with friends like these, who needs enemies?
If Carter hadn't brokered the Camp David Accords, it's entirely possible Israel wouldn't exist today. Oh,wait... the resultant bloodbath would have led to the Flight of the Raptards, so you view that as a missed opportunity. Never mind.
Confused?
