No. I'm arguing that a person who can throw a baseball has arms. Terri could respond--albeit to a very limited degree--to people and other stimuli. She then must have had a consciousness.

But then, I'm really not arguing anything anymore. It occurred to me a long time ago that there's no way I can prove anything to people who will not accept any evidence that runs counter to their cherished beliefs. (It's much like debating the resurrection with fundamentalist Christians.) If I do respond to any comments or questions on this thread, then it's just my way of trying to inform people. If that information is rejected, then I can do no more.
