The Integration of Psychology with Scripture... This is a topic which has also given rise to much debate. I would love to hear some thoughts on using counselors in churches who have been educated in secular institutions and in some cases licensed by states or provinces. Also, there seems to be an alarming increase in the use of psychological materials which in many ways contradict the scriptures by teaching us to rely on self rather than total dependence upon the Word and the Spirit of God.
