[On abortion being legal]
So was the gassing of Jews in Nazi Germany.
You'll have to try to justify it on Judgment Day. Good luck. You're going to need it.

Well, fair enough. This one argument may in fact be true: Just cause something is legal doesn't make it morally right (see: capital punishment). However, there are plenty of other reasons to not ban abortion.
Great. And you can explain to God how you forced a girl to live with a child that she never wanted, forcing her and the child into a life of poverty and misery. Explain to him how because you couldn't stand to see the good little fetus die, both the fetus AND the mother died in childbirth. Explain to him how to save the kid's life, you forced him to be put through an already overcrowded adoption system, where he ends up processed, and then kicked out onto the street at eighteen not knowing a family, or having anyone to fall back on for support. Tell me how that is so much better than the alternative.
The only reason you even MENTION the Nazis is because you don't know enough world history to know Stalin was much worse than Hitler and got off mostly scot-free, because he helped win WWII.
Also, most abortions do not involve fully human beings, and those that do are mostly used to save the life of the mother.
It's not just a Godwin, it's a total non sequitur.
Driving a car is legal...just like the gassing of Jews in Germany. :O
"You'll have to try to justify it on Judgment Day."
Which should be coming...any...minute...now!!!
Laws deal with real world issues. Judgment Day is nothing but a sick fantasy. You lose.
So is captial punishment in some third world dictatorships, and the US. You'll have to justify THAT come Judement Day, Goriller. (If you are an American, that is...)
Possession of Demazin (an antihistamine) is legal. So was the gassing of Jews in Nazi Germany. Are you trying to tell me that a decent night's sleep when one has a cold is evil?
Reading "Lolita" is a legal act. So was the gassing of Jews in Nazi Germany. Am I committing an evil act whenever I say that Humbert was reprehensible? Lolita was TWELVE.
Ownership of a housecat is legal. So was the gassing of Jews in Nazi Germany. Fuck you, cats are awesome.
Posting to a site named Internet Infidels is legal. So was the gassing of Jews in Nazi Germany. See what I did there?

"Stalin was much worse than Hitler and got off mostly scot-free, because he helped win WWII"
And you know this because you knew them both personally, and better than everyone else, right? Stalin was a monster, but he didn't commit ethnic genocide, resulting in more than six million people, men, women and children of a single ethnicity getting mercilessly butchered. He didn't have gas chambers, or the sheer magnitude of concentration camps. There weren't any horrific scientific experiments conducted on little children. By comparing Stalin to Hitler, you have spat on all the Russian people.

PROTIP: Abortion was illegal in Hitler's Third Reich. Those women who had abortions were subject to lengthy jail terms, and the doctors who performed such were executed.
Just one of the reasons why the Allies in WWII fought - and died - to eliminate Nazism, and everything it stood for. That includes being anti -Choice.
Your argument - as well as your analogy - is not just invalid, it never had the fucking right to exist in the first place.
Good men died to ensure women had the individual right to choose for themselves . If you so much as think otherwise, you admit you're an anti-freedom Nazi, and therefore you forfeit the right to exist. , as even your thinking is an insult to the memory of those who died to eliminate Nazism.
You also admit that your 'God' = Hitler, and the Bible = "Mein Kampf". But then, we knew about that already.
Confused?
