Fact: Atheists worship determinism.
Fact: Determinism is unprovable, just like god.
There are certainties and uncertainties, we know within a certain degree of accuracy what will happen in some experiments under controlled conditions yet there is no way to predict whether Schrodinger's cat will live or die. Thus determinism is unprovable.
[After some debate]
What's so difficult to understand about the concept "unprovable is not the same as disproven"? There is something very wrong with atheism if people turn out like this.
Your pathological obsession with pretending determinism exists despite the fact it is unproven is the equivalent of worship. You bear down so heavily on religions, especially christianity for some reason, because you want to avoid responsibility. By pretending only people who believe in god are capable of ignorance you shift attention away from your own, which is why atheism is so popular amongst Karl Marx worshippers.

determinism is unprovable?
Definitions:
a theory or doctrine that acts of the will, occurrences in nature, or social or psychological phenomena are causally determined by preceding events or natural laws
People believe these things. therefore determinism exists.
the quality or state of being determined
you seem to have determinism about insulting the atheists on the board.
And really, who ever worshiped Karl Marx? That's so 1950's
Your pathological obsession with pretending god exists despite the fact it is unproven is the equivalent of worship. You bear down so heavily on those who don't believe as you do, especially those who don't believe in any god for some reason, because you want to avoid responsibility. By pretending only people who don't believe in god are capable of ignorance you shift attention away from your own, which is why christianity is so popular amongst bible worshippers.
Not as good as others here could have done, but you see that by changing a few simple words you have proven yourself the ignorant one. And you didn't even have to try.
Aside from the fact that I personally worship nothing and no one, I'd say you're wrong from the get go.
Determinism is a theory of philosophy, therefore it really isn't worshiped. It may be studied and examined, but I don't think claiming people worship something you don't understand is a very good place to start your argument.
Fact: atheists do not worship anything or anyone.
Fact: zwaraaaa is an asshat.
I don't "bear down" on Christianity "because I want to avoid responsibility." I critize Christianity because it is ridiculous.
Nobody worships Karl Marx.
"Fact: Atheists worship* determinism.
Fact: Determinism is unprovable, just like god.
* Fail begins here.
"By pretending only people who believe in god are capable of ignorance you shift attention away from your own, which is why atheism is so popular amongst Karl Marx worshippers.**"
**Fail reaches critical levels. Only the post ending prevents total meltdown.
Wow, way to misunderstand Schrodinger.
The thought experiment was intended to show how ridiculous he though the idea of quantum entanglement. Logically things can't be in two places or opposite states at the same time. He thought it was just silly to say the cat was both alive and dead.
"Fact: Determinism is unprovable, just like god. "
Fact: Lightning rods designed using deterministic principles protect you from lightning. Whining and crying to your god does not.
Conclusion: Determinism works. Your god doesn't.
You fail.
Belief in something, if reliance on the decidedly reliable concept of determinism could even be described thus, is not in any way equivalent to worship.
Clearly, you simply don't understand what the word actually means.
Incidentally, atheists tend to "bear down so heavily" on Christianity in particular because Christianity is the dominant religion in the west. It's all around us and it's just unavoidable, so it's both easiest to learn about and closest to home; thus, easier to "bear down heavily" upon.
No one worships determinism, it is philosophy. Atheists don't worship anything, that's why they are called atheists. Marxism isn't religion either, it is a view of history from a economical basis. In fact I don't think that there is there anything in this post that shows that you have ever read a definition of any of those things before you posted this crap.
Actual Fact: Atheists do not worship anything, no matter how much you say we do.
Actual Fact: I believe it is philosophically undeniable that determinism is true. I also believe that although all things are deterministic, they are not predetermined, as there is no higher being, and creating a device that could predict the future would be impossible for various reasons.

"What is with you Fundies and your redefining of words? Atheists don't worship anything! Why is that so damned difficult to get your head around."
Fundamentalists absolutely, positively cannot comprehend the notion of Not Worshipping something.
Remember that episode of South Park where Kyle admits to doing a bad thing out of a guilty conscience, and Eric Cartman just CAN'T UNDERSTAND what a guilty conscience even is?
Fundies are like that with not-worshipping.
What's so difficult to understand about the concept of "the celestial teapot"?
The burden of proof lies with those who believe in the supernatural, not with atheists.
And so far, the best you've come up with is intelligent design, which provides no proofs and no insight to scientific inquiry.
The main difference between a fundie and an atheist is not that they beleive in two completely different things, but that the atheist is more than willing to accept new altering facts into the "best guess" whilst the fundie have blind faith in scripture and have a hard time accepting the earth being spherical.
The title of that thread is priceless as well: "Irrefutable proof that atheists are more ignorant than theists." First off, IRREFUTABLE! That means NO ONE can touch that tightly wrapped argument. Wait- no logic? Oh shit...
Second, how many of these silly threads and videos are there out there that are like "OMG I FOUND TEH POORF THAT THE ATHIESTS ARE WORNG!" They're either not founded in any logic or physical evidence (i.e. GODDIDIT) or they brutally screw up numbers or fudge data (e.g. quote mining) to support their claim (I won't forget part 20 of "Why do people laugh at creationists" on Youtube, some moron brutally screws up the lunar recession argument by a factor of 200 and the guy goes to town with it).
In either case, it's delusional to think that either screaming GODDIDIT or by typing a different number that it will change in all the scientific papers and suddenly you are right. It's ignorant, backwards, demeaning to science, and dangerous to the advancement of modern society. </rant>
P.S. - Also, the whole jaded "accountability" argument is just hypocritial, to say "Oh we don't believe in anything because that gives us ultimate freedom." It does IN THEORY, but thankfully we have BRAINS (unlike some fundies) and can understand the limits of said freedom that extend into other people's natural rights. We are ACCOUNTABLE to the established law of the land, and it's scary sometimes living in the U.S. to see how much of that law gives exceptions or preferential treatment to religions. If anything, we're being marginalized and held MORE accountable for our actions because of the paranoid delusions of the fundies of Jesusland- I mean the U.S. </another rant>
Fact - People who don't believe I'm Jesus worship Kim Jong Il.
You bear down so heavily on religions, especially Tombism for some reason, because you want to avoid responsibility. By pretending only people who believe I am the second coming of Christ are capable of ignorance you shift attention away from your own, which is why atombism is so popular amongst Kim Jong il worshippers.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
