Atheism is childish and simple minded. Theism, especially Biblical Judeo-Christianity is perfectly logical and rational. Atheism requires denial of common sense rationality, incessant self-inflicted brainwashing, and insane beliefs in fairy tales.

This one took out my irony metre, most of my desk, the neighbour has 2nd degree burns and everyone is running for the fire escape. Way to go, Dan.

Fixed.
Yeah. How could anyone with common sense deny that God permanently cursed the world because a talking snake tricked Adam and Eve into eating a piece of magic fruit? Or that God lifted the curse as a reward for torturing His son to death?
God logic: Eat a piece of fruit? Death and destruction on all humanity! Nail my son up by his hands and feet and leave him to a slow death? Good boy!
Yeah, that's perfectly logical and rational. [/sarcasm]
I need to get me an Irony Meter of the Magi ; that way, when it's broken, it'll set off a retributive strike and take out the guy who broke it. I don't have time or money to replace all these measly +5 irony meters of skepticism .
As long as you keep insisitng on the intrisic logical structure of religon and faith, you will never be anything more than a blind follower.
Faith in God is a deliberate decision to make an illogical decision. This is the reality of religious faith. There is nothing wrong with this, per se, but if you continue to insist that the reverse is true, you will never have more than a childish, immature, blind understanding of yourself and God.
This is why you can't argue the existence of God by logical processes, and if you do, you will always lose. This doesn't necessarily mean God does not exist, it just means that his existence can not be proven logically. When you try, you just wind up looking foolish, ignorant, and desperate. Faith by definition does not require or warrant proof, so why do people like this keep trying to prove it? Don't they realize that by attemping to do so they are in essence denying their own faith? And if they succeeded, then they would have destroyed it, since proof denies faith...
I'm pretty sure this comment is a joke right? This person just took the words Atheism and Theism and switched them around just to get a rise out of people, right? But, judging from the other comments, perhaps this gentleman is actually serious. Therefore, a few words.... There isn't a Christian theologian on this planet that would call his own religion logical or rational. One of the tenets of religion is believing in things that don't make sense in the physical world. It was Martin Luther who once said, "to be a Christian, one must gouge out the eyes of his own reason." Furthermore, the very definition of Atheism is to NOT believe. So any rant about what Atheists "believe," is completely ignorant and incorrect. This guy should take his comment to Wikipedia, where I'm sure there will be plenty of his blind Christan brethren who will verify his statement as "true."
This has to be a troll. I don't think a fundy would so perfectly describe himself, then heap that description on to atheism. Or maybe he's just an idiot.
Either way, it gives me the excuse to use this:

Let me re-phrase that for you.
"Theism is childish and simple minded. Atheism is perfectly logical and rational. Theism requires denial of common sense rationality, incessant self-inflicted brainwashing, and insane beliefs in fairy tales."
Dave -- Let me say in the most kindly and helpful way, we've got to get this straight, this is a mirror award candidate, not a case of the pot calling the kettle black. The pot calling the kettle black would be a case where person A points out a behavior flaw in person B which person A also has. Since atheists generally do not deny common sense, self-brainwash or hold insane beliefs, P&K doesn't apply.

Please note that the kettle is blue. :D
Pot and kettle award.
I guess Dan only repeats what he hears on a daily basis and changes the words around. They do that a lot. They take offense at others' statements and, to "retaliate", throw the same "insult" back.
Sandman, I liked your comment. My own suspicion, when I see fundies trying to logically prove their beliefs, is that their beliefs aren't all that solid. They're searching for evidence because they lack faith.
Sadly, it is a guy playing rubber glue and transposing arguments; not a troll
"I know you are, but what am I?" award?
Well-polished mirror award, definitely.
"Biblical Judeo-Christianity"
Come on, now. Considering that Christianity is the only religion that believes the entire
Bible, you might as well just shorten it to "Christianity".
ATHEISM requires a belief in insane fairy tales? What the hell does this guy think the Bible is full of, anyway? ATHEISM requires brainwashing? What does he think church is?
Once a person is introduced to the concept of "god or no god", atheism is simply the default position. There's no evidence that any god, in the man-in-the-sky concept, exists.
Confused?
