Turbines and solar collectors are murder machines for the precious birds that God wants us to protect.

But belching smoke and burning the shit out of the oil we're pulling out of the ground, causing acid rain and smog, well that's A-OK with God, right?
Hydro poles and transformers too. How about baseball stadiums, church spires. skyscrapers, airplanes and every motor vehicle ever?
And there absolutely no purpose to church spires what so fucking ever.
If they can't learn to fly AROUND the turbine, they weren't going to survive anyway. And given how big Yahweh is on sacrificial animals including birds , he doesn't get to bitch about it anyway.
@Jamaican Castle:
Supposedly they get cooked by the glare off the panels. It's just one more cut rate scare tactic to toss in the garbage right next to "wind turbines will stop the wind".
That's why we need to strip mine the country for coal and spew harmful CO2, sulfur, and mercury into the atmosphere.
In reality, a dead bird is just a tiny ecosystem for flies, maggots, worms and other creatures.
You forgot the bats. Wind turbines kill quite a few of those a year, too. Or are they not as precious as birds?
Only certain types of solar power plants are hazardous for birds (hint: it's not the more common ones that are just fields of solar panels. It's the ones with the tower and reflectors).
Question: How is this fundie? Because it mentions God?
Another question: How is disagreeing with solar and wind automatically support of coal and oil? For all we know, they could be fine with carbon-free solutions like hydroelectric, geothermal, and nuclear power.
Not really though, actually less than other stuff we use so shut your yourself up.

Wow, those are some statistics: Cats, the real genociders.
@Quasirodent , Skidie, Citizen Justin
Cat lover here: yeah, we know. We get their presents every now and then, we know it's but a fraction of our fluffy little murderers' true toll on enviroment. And we love them all the more for it.
@the people discussing the cat thing:
Think about how often you would report a dead bird killed by your cat versus how often you would report dead birds that flew into buildings, etc..
What I want to say is:
This is a good statistic but take it with a grain of salt.
If one truly loves cats, they shouldn't have a problem with being a responsible owner. This means spaying, collaring, registering (ID chip and license), inoculation, and if possible, keeping them indoors or building them an outdoor area they can't escape from.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
