Y'know what's ironic? All the hatred vented at people for benign comments like "it's not OK to be gay". Not that. What's ironic is the deeper truth. It's not that homos are some sort of special target. Indeed there is a hatred that fuels me. Y'know what that hatred is? It's for adultery. It's for those that deem it OK to go out and have their way with whoever and whatever they please. I reckon if you cheat on your wife or maintain a girlfriend with no intention of honouring her, you deserve to have your junk cut off.
Seriously.
Not very nice, huh?
But for some reason, people get all blind with rage when someone says says something utterly benign like "If you're in a homosexual relationship, you need to leave." I get angry when adulterers destroy families.

Ya know what? I hate adulterers too, very much even. I hate those who do it without a consciousness even more. But two single men fucking each in the butt isn't adultery - that's called sodomy by your kind.
And what if that woman has no will to be honored? I know lots of women that never want to get married.
You can belief that all people that don't do it after God's sex manual will go to hell, you can vote against them, but there's a big difference between that and verbally attacking every "deviant" you meet personally. What would you do if every time you said you're a Christian (which I'm beginning to doubt is a decision) several people would tell you you're stupider than bred and wasting your time? Or that your churches are destroying the country? What if you weren't allowed to marry? What if you were called pure evil? What if you were beaten because you wear a cross around your neck? What if your family threw you out for praying? What if somebody told you some benign comment like "it's not OK to be Christian"? All that never happend to you? Well, but you're doing all that to other people.
It's called sexual self-determination and it's a human right. So shut up if you're a real democrat.
And meanwhile, on a ball of wet rock orbiting an unremarkable star in an unremarkable galaxy, a species has evolved to the point where it can be as stupid as you and not die of forgetting to eat or breathe or something like that.
I've read a lot of quotes about how being gay=pedophilia, being gay=bestiality and being gay=incest. A quote saying that being gay=adultery isn't too much more of s stretch.
Just once though it would be nice if one of you showed some actual understanding of what you are talking about, that being gay=being gay!
How can it be seen as benign to say that homosexuals should not exist?
Married people who are having extra-marital affairs are indeed doing something wrong, as it harms other people.
People who are not married and have a relationship with someone who is also not married harm no-one, regardless of genders involved. Ergo, it's not wrong.
"If you're in a homosexual relationship, you need to leave." I get angry when adulterers destroy families.
You just contradicted yourself without even taking a breath in between. That takes a special kind of cognitive dissonance. Most people will at least stick a few words in between their contradictions. Not you, you just dove right on in.
Like all the people in the bible, like Solomon, who had multiple wives and multiple concubines, aka private prostitutes.
"What's ironic is the deeper truth. It's not that homos are some sort of special target. Indeed there is a hatred that fuels me. Y'know what that hatred is? It's for adultery. It's for those that deem it OK to go out and have their way with whoever and whatever they please."
Y'know what's ironic? Tripe here has probably never heard of these. And even before these 20th/21st Century examples, there was Solomon. Nope, not seeing any condemnation of him having 700 wives & 300 concubines anywhere in the Bible, nosiree. No double standards or hypocrisy on the part of your ultimate arbiter of morality - God - eh...?! [/hyper-sarcasm]
Jimmy Swaggart. Ted Faggard. To name but a couple of those modern-day instances. Especially the latter. Seriously. Your argument is invalid.
"I reckon if you cheat on your wife or maintain a girlfriend with no intention of honouring her, you deserve to have your junk cut off."
All right-wing fundies? No Exceptions? Couldn't agree more, Tripe. Two words: Newt Gingrich. (PROTIP: The highest divorce rates in the US are in the Midwest & Bible Belt states; one in two ). Starting with you . Not very nice, huh? Your argument is invalid II.
What the hell is benign about "I don't like you, change or GTFO" and how the hell does gay equal cheating on a spouse?
The only gay people married to a member of the opposite sex are the ones hiding in mortal fear of people that jump out threatening to cut bits off for being gay. Of course, you could just let them marry a member of the same sex that they could love and honor and cherish till death do them part.
Except, you know, that'd be letting gays marry. Next thing you know, people are going to be asking to work on Sundays without being put to death.

But for some reason, people get all blind with rage when someone says says something utterly benign like "If you're in a homosexual relationship, you need to leave."
Those are not benign statements. Those are intolerant statements that demean gay people for being gay, something which they cannot control. It's about as valid as the old distrust of left-handed people, when schools forced children to learn to act right-handed because that was the "normal" way of doing things.
Also, I completely fail to see how homosexuality equates with adultery. You fundies have been artificially restricting gays' ability to get married, so the number of gay adulterers, in the strict sense of "married person cheating on spouse," is a lot lower than it should be anyway. In any case, a gay person cheating on their significant other is as contemptible and wrong as if a straight person is doing.
@Dr. Shrinker: "I've read a lot of quotes about how being gay=pedophilia, being gay=bestiality and being gay=incest. A quote saying that being gay=adultery isn't too much more of s stretch."
How about being gay=cannibalism? I submitted a quote the other day where someone was making that analogy; hopefully it'll be accepted.
"I'm okay with your having an attraction to other men, but you can't have sex outside of marriage"
"Okay, I guess we'll be getting married, then"
"Not so fast, there, sunshine, gay people can't get married."
"Wat."
"it's not OK to be gay"
"If you're in a homosexual relationship, you need to leave."
Neither of these statements are benign. The first is basically saying being gay is evil; statements like these always lead to statements like the second, which is blatant discrimination.
You're not very nice either, huh?
At last they're moving away from their obsession with the gay thing. You never know, they might get around to the bit about not eating shellfish, and most of the quotes on here will be about the Shellfish-Eating Agenda and how it's going to Destroy America.
So, it would be OK to say "It's not OK to be black" or "It's not OK to be female?" Utterly benign, my a&&.
P.S. There's a big difference between being homosexual and being an adulterer who is detroying a family. With a few more active brain cells even the likes of you may be able to detect it.
All the hatred vented at people for benign comments like "it's not OK to be gay".
Because it's not OK to be a bigot.
Being gay is not a choice, nor is it harmful. Adultery is both, see the difference?
Most people understand this and that's why they get angry.
This is part of why same sex marriage needs to become the law of he land. Then gay people will be less likely to engage in unfulfilling marriages of appearance with opposite sex people, while resorting to adultery on the sly to find even a moments' happiness. I am glad to see that you agree with us Stripe.
That was your point, wasn't it?
> It's not that homos are some sort of special target. Indeed there is a hatred that fuels me. Y'know what that hatred is? It's for adultery.
Y'know what else there is worth hatin'? Massssturbation.
What else? Rock-n-roll.
Hast thou heard of the vilest muck there is? The abominable Shakespeare.
Times change. Attitudes don't. Targets change.
Those comments aren't benign. And your derogatory usage of the term 'homos' shows what hatred fuels you.
How about if same sex couple told you "If you're in a hetersexual relationship, you need to leave."?
Um, I think "maintaining a girlfriend with no intention of honouring her" is more fornication than adultery. I know, even the Bible gets a bit confused about these things, so I'm not surprised that you're making the same mistake.
It's for those that deem it OK to go out and have their way with whoever and whatever they please.
But that's their lives and their private business. May I respectfully suggest you worry about your own?
Yes, I can see that you think that genital removal is a profound theological viewpoint. I can see why you rail at sex out of wedlock. Also, I see why you oppose homosexuality. It's because you are in fact a fundie, aren't you? Therefore you have been thoroughly trained to be an expert interfering busybody, haven't you?
@ Anon-e-moose
I'm fairly sure "some christians have cheated, therefore anything any christian ever says on anything sex related ever is automatically wrong" is committing all kinds of logical fallacies. There a valid reasons to disagree with this garbage- homosexuality =/= adultery, for example. We don't need to throw all logic out of the window to refute him.
That's a strange excuse. I do think cheating is bad. Why? If two people agree about some arrangement and one breaks that agreement, it may be ground for the other to reevaluate trust, etc. Do you know that many homosexuals are in monogamous couples? I suppose that it's convenient to deny this, so that you can pursue your homophobic narrative. Yes, that is spreading lies and hate.
Confused?
