This is an insult to women and men alike. It not only assumes that women who are raped were "asking for it" by wearing revealing clothes, it assumes that men who see who see a woman wearing those clothes will go out of their minds with lust and rape her. I'm male. I ABHOR rape. And when I see a scantily-clad woman on the street, I can look at her and even get turned on by her, and not even consider raping her. Very few rape (10% tops) cases involve provocativley dressed women. It's not an excuse even then, strippers have a higher than average occurance because they attract the rapist type who thinks of them as unreedemable sluts who are asking for it. Oddly enough,like you seem to think.
