This is ridiculous, and just shows how many people don't actually read the thread linked before commenting and voting. The dicussion was on economics, CR was a libertarian, and the Nationstates "debaters" (I play the game but I can't use the main forum, it's too insane) continually attacked his religion for no reason whatsoever. NS posters have a strong tendency to be offensive and downright rude to anyone who is not a pinko-liberal/socialist.
Lightman, I would say something serious here, but this is not the place for serious discussion. Suffice it to say that if your calling left-wingers "pinko-liberal/socialist" there's probably a reason you're not taken seriously, and really he rolled with the tangent and invited this. Regardless of the discussion or the beliefs of the other people, there is no reason to threaten violence, especially if you want to be taken seriously

Respect doesn't work that way. To try and put it in simple words that hopefully even a fundie moron can follow, if I must respect your Christian views then you must respect my views that Christianity is bunk.
