Please show us then, what atheism has to do with cannibalism.
It wuld also be nice if yiou could show us its doctrinal connection with evolution, especially considering the fact, that not only atheists believe in the ToE to be correct, but most of the christians in the western world as well ;)
As for fatalism...
who is more of a fatalist? The person who thinks that god governs every single thing within our lives (including natural disasters, which he uses to punish certain people)
or an atheist person who thinks that we are all responsible for our own lives (and also for many of the things that happen in earth (like global warming) and to siociety?

Long ago, when I was a practising Catholic, I took part in the sacrament of Communion. Every Sunday, I ritually consumed the "body and blood" of Christ.
Given the stupidity of that religion in addition to this acquired taste for flesh, it is easy to see that I was destined to evolve into an atheist and full-time cannibal.
Say, how would you like to come over for dinner?
Come here, prosperousindividual. I think you'd go very well with some fava beans and a nice chianti. >:)
Just kidding. Seriously, where did the cannibalism thing come from?

Actually, cannibalism is more tied to religion to atheism. The tribes who practiced cannibalism did it as a RITUAL to contain the souls of the dead amongst them, or otherwise depending on the people who ate them. For example, according to the cannibalism article wikipedia.com:
The Aghoris of northern India consume the flesh of the dead floated in the Ganges in pursuit of immortality and supernatural powers. Members of the Aghori drink from human skulls and practice cannibalism in the belief that eating human flesh confers spiritual and physical benefits, such as prevention of aging.
Other times it has nothing to do with religion and last resort for survival, like the Donner Party.
tl,dr; Cannibalism is often connected with religion, stop making shit up to prove your point.
"faith structure of atheism?"
Cannibalism -- no.
Fatalism -- no.
Evolution -- yes because that is what is supported by the evidence.
Elitism -- yes as the best and the brightest (read that as "elite") tend to investigate the evidence and form their opinions based upon that evidence.
More -- yes, we evolution-understaning elite do have other things on our minds too.
Cannibalism?
Noooo
That's the Catholics.
cannibalism? Nope, that's something religious people do, or pretend to do.
fatalism? Well, as a realist I acknowledge that all living beings eventually die but I don't get all upset about it.
evolution? Sure, I accept the theory of evolution as all educated people do, but it's no more a religious doctrine than the theory of gravity.
elitism? OK, you got me there. I KNOW I'm smarter and more logical than you and I'm probably more moral and smell nicer, too.
Yeah, and let's not forget child molesting, bank robbery, causing earthquakes, crossing on the "don't walk" sign and drinking past-dated milk!
Of course by the fundie definition, there are only six non-atheists in the whole world.
Cannibalism? - what like, this is my body, eat of it and remember me - NOPE, that's the Catholics.
Fatalism? - what like, mankind is made inherently sinful and flawed, and is bound to sin - NOPE, that's the Catholics again.
Evolution? - The catholic chruch acknowledged evolution in the 60's.
Elitism? - well yes, they're God's chosen people, the road to heaven is narrow and many will fall by the wayside. Those that are unrighteous will burn in eternal hellfire...
You know, maybe you should stopp standing in front of that big ol' mirror of yours and get a teensy clue about life.
Have charity for the world, my pet
We'll take the customers that we can get
We won't discriminate great from small
no we'll serve anyone
meaning anyone
and to anyone
at all!
You claim to eat a jew, then accuse others of cannibalism?
You claim god does what he wants and nobody can stop him then you accuse others of fatalism?
You claim you will be beamed up and everyone else will be left behind then you accuse others of elitism?
There is definite hypocricy woven throughout christianism.
Cannibalism? Like the eating of Christ's flesh?
Fatalism? Like the whole condemning to hell?
Evolution? Like organisms adapting to survive?
Elitism? Like how Christians say and act like they are better than everyone?
I do love how elitism and cannibalism are mentioned together. Goodness knows, as an atheist cannibal I refuse to settle for less than the absolute, professional best when picking out and capturing my future meals, and no meddling cannibal hobbyists are going to change THAT.
"Ooo-oohh, my plane crashed into a mountain and I had to eat the other passengers to survive! Listen to my idea-aas! Oo-ooh!"
Shut the hell up and butt out until you've spent the last decade doing this for a living, dumbass .
And, oh my god, it looks like the quote isn't a poe, either.

He actually explains what he meant by cannibalism in the comments:
"If you, as most atheists, would eat another (dead) human being if it meant saving your own life then you are a cannibal
plain and simple."
By that definition, sure, I'm a cannibal.
Then again, I'm also a murderer because I would kill in self-defence.
I'm a thief because I would steal to survive.
I'm a rapist because I would rape if forced to at gunpoint.
etc.
So, I guess what he's just proven is that everyone is everything.

Why do I get the impression that he really just drives a truck full of crap for a living ?
Evolution I can go with. Feeling good about myself for not being elitist is a bit of a paradox, I suppose. Fatalism, erm, only in some cases.
But cannibalism?!
Actually, I know at least half a dozen atheists that don't believe in evolution (they believe we're an alien experiment). Since even that is not all-encompassing, I don't see how the others could fit at all.
You are either lying, or unbelievably ignorant. Which is it?
On second thought, don't bother answering that...
My Fundie to English dictionary defines "elitism" as, "Having a degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, and an IQ above 60. See, Vanity Colleges for list of exclusions."
Elitism = ?
Fundies have no real definition, but since the other party's presence causes them to be filled with feelings of insecurity, and that's clearly not their fault since they're the ones who have it right, it must be our doing. We're all such horrible dicks.
wait, what? faith? it's not a god damn faith already. evolution? elitism? damn, you got me there, but then, being one of the few sane people on the planet does that to you. and cannibalism? well, not very healthy, kinna gross, but if you have to, I dunno, whatever.
and by the way, I'm not sure you know what fatalism means. it's hardly an insult, and your more prone to it than me.
As for doctrine, it has become increasingly obvious that there are definite articles of doctrine that are woven through the faith structure of fundy Christians. They include but are not limited to homicide, rape, stalking, arson/bombing, terrorism, and more.
(Fundy Christians have committed ALL of the above against abortion providers or those who dare to disagree with them)
Examples include:
John Salvi
Paul Hill
Clayton Lee Waagner
Michael Griffin
Rochelle (Shelly) Shannon
James Charles Kopp
Army of 'God'
Operation 'Rescue'
National 'Right to Life' Committee
'Pro-Life' Action League
and the list goes on.....
Only an idiot with a title like "Internet Pastor" would pull something this big out of his ass.
Also. Faith=/= Religion, faith, etc.
Get it through your thick skull already.
CANNIBALISM?
Erm, fatalism? How so? Isn't you guys who keep saying the world's gonna end soon?
I love how someone called "prosperousindividual" is complaining about elitism.
Atheism doesn't work that way.
cannibalism
"This is my body. Take and eat."
fatalism
"Jesus will return and give us a new earth, so, no reason to protect this one."
elitism
"Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven. And you're all going to hell if you don't believe as we do."
Hmmm...
For all of you playing the communion card...
As a Christian, I know it is symbolic.
Most Christians know it is symbolic.
That's why it is not cannibalism.
It was never meant to be.

@ Kevin Klaw
The Protestant tradition involves the rite of consubstantiation, where the bread and wine are held to be symbolic of the flesh and blood of Jesus. However, the Catholic tradition (the largest Christian denomination in existence) holds to the belief in transubstantiation, wherein the Catholic mass allows the bread and wine to be miraculously made into the literal blood and body of Jesus. The difference is very important, as is indicated by the number of people who have been killed over it.
More importantly though, transubstantiation is a rite of central importance to the Catholic faith. It is held to be exclusive to them as they are the One True Christian Faith (according to their doctrine). To deny the truth of the miracle of transubstantiation is heresy against the Catholic Church. So in response to your post I don't know if most Christians (numerically speaking) understand that the holy communion is not cannibalism. However the largest denomination of Christians in existence relies on it.
Confused?
