I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Any God who completely ignores the good things you do if you don't kiss his ass, and ignores any bad things you do (No matter how bad) if you START kissing his ass afterwards, IS NOT WORTH WORSHIPPING.
What's up with this faith thing anyways? Of all the things a God could chose to reward with salvation, why pick blind faith? What about rationality, or compassion, or honesty? Any of those would be better than faith without evidence.

Why couldn't Jehovah just apologize for setting us up with that whole "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil"? Maybe you could explain why it's wrong for Humanity to have knowledge of good and evil. After all, how does one exercise free will without knowing what's good and what's evil?
Here's the most important question: Why did Jehovah have to torture a Human and then murder him in order to forive us? If anything, based on that behavior, He should be asking us to forgive Him .

Because the rest of those things would mean they'd have to work for their salvation. Blind faith and zealotry means they be as judgmental and sanctimonious as they want, lie, cheat, steal, rape and pillage, and it doesn't matter, because they believe they're saved.

In your Bible there are many things which are apparently impossible for your God.
If your God is as benign as you claim, why would he kill countless numbers of innocent people in the OT?
Why would anyone want to "reconcile" with such a bloodthirsty, sadistic demon as your god?
I rejected WHAT means of reconcillation? His only means seems to be a bunch of people who talk about how great Jesus was, and that if you don't prostrate yourself between the 2 millenia old magician, you burn forever. And all amidst an endless number of other perspectives pertaining the essentially unverifiable world of the divine, even within your own religion.
If God is all powerful, not a hate-monger, and wants to not be rejected, he can communicate with me directly. Otherwise, he just appears to be sadistic and intentionally confusing.
Of course nothing's impossible with God.
That's why the simple-minded, superstitious bronze-age goat-herders invented him to explain everything they didn't understand about the world around them.

You know, your Old Testament makes no mention of burning in Hell for all Eternity in the afterlife. It took the Christians to invent such an unimaginable torture, and ascribe it to their "God of love".
