It's not Islam per se that is the threat, but religion in general, and particularly religious people who are willing to blindly obey anyone speaking for a deity. If we all stepped back and said "Wait a moment, why don't we let everyone have whatever religion he or she wants, as a personal matter? Let's get onto the problem about how to feed and water everyone in the world instead.". That's closer to what Jesus supposedly said in the Bible. But, whoever reads that musty old book anymore, right Nemo?
Since what "Islam in its purest form" might be has been argued over by Muslims for nearly the entire history of Islam, I doubt if any contribution Nemo has to make will be very enlightening. As with any good fundie, Nemo's references to Sun Tzu and Jesus show that he knows nothing much of either. Note also the transition from "it" (Islam) to "they" (Muslims), thereby presuming all Muslims to be guilty of what one or two might do on the other side of the world.
This would have been the point where I would say "go ahead, wipe each other out," were I in a worse mood.

By your logic we should punish a man that murders someone's father not by jailing or even killing the murderer, but by killing the murderer's father who had nothing to do with the crime. And what if the murderer hates his father (just as fundie Muslims hate liberal Muslims)? And specifically in the case of Muslim extremists, they can use the dead liberal Muslim they didn't care about as a rallying call to recruit more terrorists. Congratulations, you've just rewarded them for their bad deeds. Now they're more likely to do it again.
