No. They are that way because of the disease of sin:
"When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned." Romans 5:12
Sin causes people to be born with diseases and other to be born without body parts. Sin has caused genetic abnormalities in Humans.
Once Jesus returns, people will never be born with genetic abnormalities

Yeah, that's what the Bible's ancient fairy tale says. Fortunately, as with much of the Bible, it's not true.
"Sin causes people to be born with diseases and other to be born without body parts."
Your mommy must have been quite the sinner for you to be born without your frontal lobes.
"Sin has caused genetic abnormalities in Humans."
As "sin" does not exist, your statement is untrue. However, some behaviors deemed sin in the Bible can cause genetic abnormalities in humans. Incest comes to mind.
"Once Jesus returns, people will never be born with genetic abnormalities"
Okie-dokie. When Jesus gets back you send me an e-mail, 'K?
Why punish the children for the sins of their parents (assuming, for argument's sake, that sin exists)? Punishing someone who hasn't even been born because some mythical asshole some 6000 years ago (if we allow your bullshit calendar) did something stupid is just? I think not.

You mean we will no longer be based on the genetic code? How will this be acomplished?
Sin causes people to be born with diseases and other to be born without body parts. Sin has caused genetic abnormalities in Humans.
It's not sin, you dunce. It's called a mutation. A mutation is a change in the chemical [in this case genetic] make-up of a chromosome. It has got nothing to do with your fairy-tale concept of sin. If it did then how would it be possible to produce and replicate those changes in laboratories? Here's a hint: they do not use a tank of concentrated sin.
If jebus already took away our 'sins', then why is there still defects and sin? Why did god allow all people in the past, present and future to have defects? Why did god punish pinheads, quadraplegics, flipper people, crab-claw people, armless, legless, blind, deaf, dumb, retarded, diseased, debilitated etc etc ad nauseum to suffer for god's first man? His practice guy sets the stage for everyone? Nothing can change now that Adam has sinned? Why was the world 'flooded' then? Do you even listen to the words that come out of your own mouth? You are shutting yourself off from reality and picking the scenario that makes you feel good, which is only a band-aid, only a placebo to help you sleep better at night without having to think.

Papabear, I seem to recall that the bible takes a somewhat relaxed view of incest compared to most other forms of "sin".
Didn't we have a guy on here a couple of months ago claiming that if you repent and are saved, Jesus will take away your mutations?
Yeah, much to the amusement of the Warhammer 40K fans of the board ^^

Yes, the first few generations of humanity, for example. Then the few generations after the Flood.
I wonder if having sex with your opposite sex clone counts as incest?
So now we have an actual test for sin?
I can't wait to see who has more sin: Homos, catholic priests, muslims, or biology teachers.
I don't recall the bible saying "When Adam sinned sin entered the world. Adam's sin brought death, and babies being born without arms."
So I think you're grasping at straws here.
God gave people genetic diseases, diseases that would affect their offspring for generations, because they were bad? Yep, sounds about right. You worship a monster; a blood-thirsty tyrant with a warped sense of justice. I'm not saying this because it is a new revelation to me; it isn't. I just thought that it bears a little bit of repeating, since it never seems to occur to the serf in God's Kingdom that their good king's legal system is a bit out of whack.
So, wait forever as they've always waited, don't do anything, it's "divine destiny". Meanwhile, medicine and funding may be trying to do something. So is that "sin"?
There's not even any evidence that your mythological couple ever existed. It's even a self-conflicted tradition. A god who has no god just exists, he's lonely so decides to create toys to play with. He lures them into traps that he concocts. It leads them into more suffering. It's also an anthropomorphic jealous crybaby human-god. He's supposedly so powerful but is scared of idols of older gods or of tall buildings.
That's all that you have to justify your claim that those people deserve to be amputees because supposedly, they're sinners? Come on.
Confused?
