I’ve began to wonder if there is another reason for the perpetual war our Western societies are (forced to be) involved in. Much is made of ‘spreading Democracy’, ‘protecting oil fields’ and ‘profiteering’ but I’ve not seen it fully considered that there could be another reason for the fabrication of perpetual war: To cull the warriors of our folk.

The more I read about WWI and II, as well as Vietnam, the Falklands and of course the utterly and obviously wasteful wars still raging in the Middle East, the more they appear to be by design, and not for any real righteous gain or political advance. For the most part, the issues seem as though they could have been resolved peacefully should both parties have been of honourable constitution. But instead, we went to war and sent millions of our men (and women) to die.

Does that mean that, through from our finest dying to protect England in 1066 to today, we now have a race of people with less blood inclined to the warrior ethos than we did originally? Could this have been part of a deliberate plot to de-warrior-ise our people and soften us up for the tyranny we now suffer under?
