Show me an embryo from the point where most abortions are done dressed up in a doll, and I'll be impressed. Those things are about the size of your pinkie nail. IIRC they usually dissolve in-utero anyway.
Not that this knowledge is needed to figure out that either you or your friends telling you these stories are lying.

And I've heard stories about Christians engaging in cannibalism and participating in midnight orgies during their services. Granted, those stories were circulated during the days of the Roman Empire by pagan critics of Christianity, but I am sure they are valid. After all, as Phillip-George loves to say, "the plural of anecdote is evidence."
I've heard stories that the world was created in six days a few thousand years ago, that Adam and Eve were the first people, that we're all fucked because a talking snake made Eve eat an apple...etc. etc.

The point about comments like this is that those are just stories made up by anti-abortionists to demonize the process. No reality to confirm this,,,But,,, and here's the rub
Children are abused and die from it from church practices and church ordained neglect on a regular basis. This can be found in searches with the legal charges to back it up but this is never noticed or accepted by them. But one wingnut fabricated story gets a little traction and they're all onboard the rumourtrain.
The origional post this came from was a thread about the recently arrested abortion doctor who is being charged for malpractice beyond incompetance. He will be jailed, yet religious leaders and religious parents walk from abuse, fraud and willful harm charges damn near weekly.
And the sheeple always, always call that one bad apple, mental illness or isolated incident.
To be honest, having heard stories of what med-students get up to, and knowing what I and my dickhead mates thought of as hilarious when we were 18 and wasted (or sober), I'd be willing to put a bit of money on this happening in some ill-run late-term abortion facility somewhere. When you get de-sensitised its quite easy to do what appears to normal people to be horrible things, but you just think of as funny - ask any combat soldier.
And so what? This is obviously unacceptable behaviour to everyone, obviously does not reflect upon the concept of abortion, and to treat it differently is simply dishonest.

If a fetus with severe defects is aborted then sometimes the woman or couple who wanted a child will put it in clothes or swaddle it and take postmortem pictures. But that's a side of abortion that lunatics like this won't even face up to or look at logically. Because "aborshun is always wrooong!"

Most aborted fetuses (not babies) are about half an inch long, and more or less indistinguishable from chicken fetuses or sheep fetuses.

Hi guys. There seems to be some misunderstanding about what I had posted. I'd like to clear that up. I have to admit some of your posts made me laugh though.
I was referring to late term abortion, in which there is a recognizable human form. No ignorance of biology required. I didn't source the story because I happened to hear this referred to on a radio show and I couldn't recall the exact source at the time that it had been taken from.
Considering what had happened in Gosnell's clinic and some of the horrible documented things that really do happen with late term fetuses in China (such as being dessicated and put into pills), I don't think some callous late term abortionists being unprofessional with a dead fetus is all that implausible.

The fact that you guys take what I said and try to make it sound like I'm talking about an early stage embryo is rather disengenuous. I was referring specifically to late term abortion and a 3rd trimester fetus.
How many are these "late term abortions", how late are they, and aren't they always done due to serious problems with either the fetus or the woman, threatening to kill one or both?
There are idiots in all fields; one or two behaving like immature dolts is not an argument to stop the whole abortion process. I bet there are idiots playing with chicken carcasses after they are slaughtered. Should we all stop eating chicken because of that? There are many valid reasons to stop eating chicken, but that is not one of them...
Glad to see you come in and defend your comments Rubystars, I've certainly gone off into Lalaland with some of mine. To be fair it was usually when the origional post started in Lalaland so i felt justified naking shit up.
You may have well heard or read such things. this site is loaded with people making shit up to defend their religion and villify those who won't join. Somewhere, maybe sometime your story may have happened, I have no illusions that people aren't capable of losing it, being drunk, hooked on drugs or just being unfeeling bastards in any profession.
But the higher professions (politics excluded) have safegaurds and if something like this is substantiated (Abortionist Puppeteers) there are severve penalties enforced.

Most abortions occur in the first trimester. At the end of that time, the fetus is about the size of a jelly bean. Not too much playing with a lump of tissue like that.
So, as many above say, i think you’re at LEAST spreading untruths, if not the author if outright lies yourself.
