I'd say that some major sects of Christianity are much more encouraging of Socialism than atheism. Even the bullshit that is attributed to Jesus is decidely socialistic.

I suppose I can understand why the dumfux are prone to clump spirituality, science, sociology and politics together. I mean, they have a single "goddidit" for every last one of their silly arguments, so they are assuming we have the same structure with some Atheist Arch-Darwin somewhere who tells the scientists what to say, etc etc.
