I've progressed beyond the fallacy of favoring liberalism, simply because the old farts must be backwards dinosaurs. You begin with tolerance for gays, then extend it to trans, and then you move to all the other fetishes like pedophilia, beastiality, incest, and genetic engineering. Is there even a stopping point? I wonder if we are on a slippery slope and if it will inevitably meet a final backlash someday.

I wonder if we are on a slippery slope
Aww, come on! So close and yet so far... You can't just lampshade your own fallacy without realizing it!
Also, is he not aware of the irony of complaining about sexuality on a hentai forum? Where good ol' yuri and yaoi are very prevalent?

Yeah, it was before paedophilia, bestiality, and incest.
Jackass, no one is justifying or accepting Pedophilia or Beastiality. While there could be a possible argument for consenting incest (IE between consenting adults, not obvious power imbalances like significantly older siblings or god-forbid parents) and Genetic engineering? what on earth do you even mean by that? Personally, I think that would be a good thing but maybe its' because I'm born with Aspergers and would like to have a way to at least make it somewhat more manageable.
side note: what the hell are you doing on a porn-site in the first place?

Oh, hey, I'm an aspie too! And I agree; while I don't fully condone genetic engineering to make inhuman supermen per se, I don't see what the problem is with using it to get rid of genetic defects and hereditary diseases. Of course, "fixing" (even though Aspergers is not a disease or defect, but anyway) a mental issue is far more difficult, but one can hope...
Genetic engineering as a fetish? Well, I can imagine that, but that's something only very few communities would get. Not something I'd use in any sort of argument.
Edit: Looked at that thread, are you kidding me? Shit like this on a hentai forum out of all places? You've gotta be kidding me. 99% of the public sees those people as freaks, yet they themselves still apparently have a need to bully other people??
1. Gays - Okay
2. Trans - Okay
3. Pedophilia - NOT OKAY
4. Bestiality - Probably not okay unless the non-human in question is sapient and can clearly and unambiguously express consent
5. Incest - Questionable, possibly okay with some major restrictions
6. Genetic Engineering - Inevitable unless civilization collapses first
(I'm assuming that if this is in a purely sexual context and is not something randomly thrown in to pad the list, "genetic engineering" refers to heavily modified beings derived from human stock, or maybe "real" furries)
All old hat until he threw genetic engineering in there, which is hardly a sexual thing.
I'm fully in favour of creating genetically engineered superpeople. 'Gattaca' be damned, we should take this and run with it before someone like Putin does. If humans can't cope with running this world maybe it's time we gave superhumans a chance.
...he said, on a site chock-full of underage, incestuous, and/or furry characters engaged in sexual acts.
Also, aren't paedophilia, bestiality, and incest all more common amongst conservative hillbilly types? Even if it's just a stereotype?
The old farts must be backwards dinosaurs? You mean old white conservative men?
In step with growing tolerance for gays and trans (and other human rights), the tolerance for pedophilia, bestiality and incest (and other violations of rights) usually goes the other way. Those three were more tolerated in the past, and are now frowned upon.
Genetic engineering? As a fetish?
So, you haven't progressed beyond actual fallacies (like the fables slippery slope), only imaginary ones (favoring liberalism? since when is that a fallacy?).
I don't know if it's a backlash, but we have seen quite a lot of pedos and "incels" lately. Perhaps they are feeling the growing intolerance from society?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
