This must certainly be painful for emma and others who know and look up to this Lonnie Latham character, but there really is only one conclusion to draw from this incident: Lonnie Latham is not only actually gay, but a hypocrite. I think it is sad that he chose to become a hypocritical gay-basher rather than deal constructively with his own nature (and I lay some of the blame for that on his upbringing), but it is impossible to avoid the fact of hypocrisy itself. Denial doesn't help anybody.

If 2 people consent, I say, let them do what they will (within the boundries of reason, of course, but that is an entirely separate debate in itself). Regarding the solicitation issue, I'd say that offering to engage in sexual activities of any sort in exchange for compensation (monetary or otherwise) should also be fully legal, provided that all of the participants consent fully to their roles (again though, another entirely separate debate).
