>and go into military battle against the government
"Article III, section 3, Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.
The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted."
>and replace those in government with individuals that will uphold the Constitution.
The Constitution is what establishes that very government. It, and not you is what creates, defines, and sanctions the roles of the three branches. It, and not you, is the final authority on the legality of the actions of any of those three branches, or anyone working within them in an official capacity.
There is also the The Alien Registration Act of 1940, which I bet you love the sound of. Don't get ahead of yourself here though. In addition to dealing with some immigration issues, it also makes illegal, and sets penalties for advocating the overthrow of the US government, through violence. It's pretty strict in what it deems as advocacy too. For example it specifically states that suggesting that it may ever be necessary (as you have done), desirable, or one's duty are to be taken as an advocation of it. It applies to everyone, and not just non-citizen foreigners, although they were who it was initially aimed at. In principle at least, what you've said is very much a criminal act under US law, and you could potentially face lengthy imprisonment, hefty fines, and if you are not a citizen, deportation as well. Don't worry though, because even at the height of the Red Scare it was extremely difficult to enforce. It has never been repealed, or allowed to expire, so it is still part of US law. It has not been successfully used to obtain a conviction since 1962, but occasionally the DoJ will attempt to use it anyway. There is always a chance that you could be the exception, that some overly-enthusiastic judge or prosecutor might manage to make an example of you. Since you are in fact openly calling for violent overthrow of our Democratic system, and murder of democratically elected officials, it would be very hard to feel sorry for you at all. In fact, a part of me would love to see it happen. I just know that it would be opening up a door that would allow the government to stamp out legitimate criticism of it too, just as the Patriot Act and War on Terror in general did.

>I love how FSTDT claims to be for the 1st amendment, but openly opposes the 2nd.
I love how you've clearly wandered in here, and not bothered to lurk at all. I am not opposed to the 2nd Amendment, and I've seen others defend it over the years as well. It may be difficult for you to comprehend, but we are not a hive-mind here. The only one thing we all (trolls aside) have in common for certain is that we are here to mock, and laugh at fundamentalists, and fundamentalism--conspiracy theorists and racists too.
>if you have millions upon millions of Americans revolting against you
You assume that everyone is on the same side. That there are only two clearly defined and easily identifiable sides possible. That they are all revolting against the same thing. That there won't be people who'll happily use it as an opportunity to try and profit from the chaos, or settle old, unrelated scores. People who come from foreign countries, to get involved--maybe they believe in "the cause" too, or they're mercenaries looking to profit, or maybe spies/infiltrators from both enemy and allied nations. People who don't want to be involved period, but get caught up in it anyway, and are pissed off at whomever they perceive as being the one(s) to blame for fucking up their lives, and killing their loved ones. You know, pretty much exactly what the military has had to deal with in Vietnam, and the Middle East. Pretty much exactly what happened during the US Civil War.
>First, you Mr. Potential Tyrant are going to have lots of deserters in the US army who aren't going to fire on their American fellow citizens.
And you also have a lot who don't out of fear of what might happen if they are caught, or if they are accused of being spies. You have those who think that the Military is being too soft on the traitors, terrorists and enemy combatants--all three words the military can and will use to dehumanize their enemy. You'll even have some who are legitimately torn, but ultimately choose to remain loyal, for whatever reason. If things got drug out long enough, and things got bad enough, that military or the government might even fragment, and turn on each other, but still treat you as their enemy, to be either subjugated or killed.
>They can even capture more advanced military equipment and use it against you.
Or buy it with whatever spoils they can accumulate. Yes, there will be military personnel who don't want to defect/desert--the military will likely manage to maintain some semblance of normalcy in areas they control, and they'll be more likely to have better access to food, medicine, electricity, running water, booze, drugs, prostitutes, and such there--but don't mind one bit selling their own out for a dollar while they are at it.
>You're kinda naive aren't you?
You are if you think that somehow humans are going to stop being human, and that war would somehow be different if it came to your own doorstep.
