There is no other book, ancient or modern, like [the bible]. The vague, and usually erroneous, prophecies of people like Jeanne Dixon, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and others like them are not in the same category at all, and neither are other religious books such as the Koran, the Confucian Analects, and similar religious writings. Only the Bible manifests this remarkable prophetic evidence, and it does so on such a tremendous scale as to render completely absurd any explanation other than divine revelation.

Okay, that's what you say. Now I must ask for some of this "evidence" which you claim to have. I could say I have a third butt cheek, but unless I show you, there's no way to know whether or not I'm telling the truth...
See how this works?
There is no other book, ancient or modern, obsessed over like the bible. The similarly vague, and equally erroneous, prophecies of people like Jeanne Dixon, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and others like them are not embraced by such large numbers of gullible people, and neither are other religious books such as the Koran, the Confucian Analects, and similar religious writings. Only defenders of biblical inerrancy manifest this remarkable ability to trot out absolute bullshit as fact, and do so on such a tremendous scale as to render our attempts to prevent ignorance completely futile.
The Confucian Analects don't even refer to an afterlife, let alone the future, you dolt! It even says right in there that because Confucius knew nothing about the spiritual that he wouldn't talk on the subject! All it talks about is how to be a model citizen and inspire others! Gah!
Actually Nostradamus has a better average, in fact dead acurate if you fudge it a bit (like people do with the Bible)By the way The new testament is not proof of the old testaments predictions, it just says it is.
As for modern 'phychics' they make hundreds of predictions and publish the ones that come true
"Only the Bible manifests this remarkable prophetic evidence, and it does so on such a tremendous scale as to render completely absurd any explanation other than divine revelation"
Why doesn't the Bible mention Rio De Janeiro winning the bid for the 2016 Olympics? Or the New Orleans Saints winning Superbown XLIV? Who'll win the most golds in 2012 London? Or who'll win Superbowl XLV, if the Bible 'manifests remarkable prophetic evidence on such a trememdous scale', hmmmmm?
At least Nostradamus mentioned 'Hister'.
Oh yes, the prophecies of the bible are crystal clear. After all, William Miller and his band of sheep were lifted into heaven 150 years ago when he interpreted the prophecies in the bible, right? Oh wait, he didn't. Well, should be any time now.
If there were one, count it, ONE prophesy in the bible that revealed something that could not have been known at the time of its writing, I would be so much more inclined to believe. There is not one such bit of revelation, only vague, horoscope-like statements which could apply to anything. Or they are predictions in one part of the book which are fulfilled in another part. (I have read very few books in which there are not close parallels to that phenomenon e.g. Harry Potter.)
A loving omniscient god would have slipped in a few bits of information which would have clearly telegraphed his/her/its presence in an unmistakable way. There are no such pieces of informtion in the bible.
I have repeatedly challenged bible believing christians to cite an example of something that the ancients could not have known being in their beloved text. All I get is evasion.
Deluded much? There's probably more prophetic evidence in a Noddy book than in the Bible, which gets almost everything wrong and repeatedly contradicts itself.
But we'll ignore all that, eh?
Confused?
