There are only two possible interpretations of the Bible. Right and wrong. In this particular case my interpretation happened to be the right one and you have done nothing to demonstrate other wise.

It's several pieces of not-well-written fantasy fiction.
Interpreting it as anything else is just silly.
Unfortunately there are 2.1 billion people who have done just that.

Hm,
you ask the other person to provide evidence that his interpretation is right, but I don´t see you giving any evidence that shows that your interpretation is the right one ;)
and you have done nothing to demonstrate other wise.
Except say the same thing back to you, with the same conviction.
I am a disinterested 3rd party. Yours are both wrong.

This Gatorade is either red or not red.
Therefore, lemon gatorade is the same as orange gatorade.
Actually, there is a third option and that is that the bible is fiction, therefore irrelevant. So, it is neither right nor wrong; it's just a bunch of stories.
What's to interpret? The bible is bullshit in Hebrew, it's bullshit in Greek, it's bullshit in Aramaic, it's bullshit in Latin, it's bullshit in whatever language one wishes to interpret it. Still bullshit for morons.

Let me guess: you know your interpretation is the right one because you agree with it, correct? Anyone's interpretation you don't agree with it, quite obviously, wrong, correct?

FUCKWIT. No doubt this fool thinks he's right, 100% of the time, and you could show him asolute proof that the earth is round & he'd still deny it.
Ah, so Jesus was crucified both before the Passover began (as John records) and after (as the other 3 gospels record). Since both accounts are in the bible, and the bible is right, they must both be right. Boy, when you said that there were only two possible ways to look at that it really made things clearer.
Not so, one could see it as completely fictional, less bizarre events being exaggerated over time, real events spiced up with a bit of metaphor, or completely true, fairly certain the last one's wrong though, last time I checked, snakes don't talk.
Confused?
