Both Sauron ( Mount Doom) and Herod - King of Jews lived in volcanoes
If Herod was not a Jew as National Geographic claim, was Jesus also not a Jew? Joseph might in fact have been Nordic or Germanic.. Mary became pregnant at the age of fifteen and apparently before Jimmy Saville had been born.
The more I learn about Christianity the more Heathen I become.

It's pretty well documented where Herod lived, and it wasn't in a volcano. Joseph, being of the House of David, is not likely to have been Nordic or Germanic.
Uh. What the hell are you trying to say?
That Herod is Sauron? That Herod is a fictional character like Sauron? That, while you reject Christianity, you think Jesus was Germanic? Seriously, what are you trying to communicate here?
Herod was Idumaean and Nabataean. His father's family converted to Judaism in the second century BCE.
Wouldn't Joseph's ethnicity be irrelevant?
There are extinct volcanoes in the Golan heights.
Hang on, King Herod had a volcano lair?
That is the single most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Everyone knows that Herod commanded his evil army from his skull throne in Snake Mountain, where he plotted the conquest of all Eternia.
I may be conflating Herod with Skeletor, but there are just so many fictional villains out there, it's so hard to keep them straight.
Oh my, you're speaking of Masada, an extinct volcano. He apparently rented it from Dr. Evil. Herod converted to Judaism when Rome appointed him Governor of Galilee.
It is not outside the limits of possibility that Joseph was Nordic, but the odds are so long it's almost impossible. What, did he walk from Oslo to Jerusalem?
Oh, and Herod was widely regarded as an asshole, just as you are, Greenway.
As someone who just spent six months performing conservation and preservation on a bunch of Herod's old stuff, including his Roman-inspired frescos at Masada, I can tell you without any doubt in my mind, that King Herod never lived in or near a volcano, active or otherwise.
Also, Sauron didn't live in Mount Doom, he lived in Barad-Dur, which was a tower NEAR Mount Doom. And by near, I mean like 40 miles away.
@Sangfroid
Masada is not an extinct volcano, it has no lava chambers, nor crater and is a flat-topped plateau. Also, Herod didn't convert to Judaism after he became the ruler of Judea, his grandfather converted the entire family to the faith before Herod's father was even born.
Also, the whole 'Herod is widely regarded as an asshole' thing is not exactly true. He's hailed the greatest builder and architect in Jewish history, albeit rather crazy and megalomaniacal. His ruling policies are not thought of very fondly, nor is his bowing to the Romans. But there is a reason we refer to him as 'Herod The Great'.
So you compare this guy:

Why else would he've been called the King of the Jews??? Also, I.N.R.I. motherfucker, do you know what it means? Iesus Nasarenus Rex Iudaeorum. That is, "Jesus of Nasareth, King of the fucking Jews. "
Joseph might in fact have been Nordic or Germanic..
What about the theories by some that Jesus was black? Are you this tolerant towards those ideas too?
Mary became pregnant at the age of fifteen and apparently before Jimmy Saville had been born.
...
Are you likening the pregnancy of Mary, who, mythologically speaking, became pregnant with the son of God, to a complete monster who raped hundreds of minors?
Whoa.
I'm not even Christian, and yet I stand in awe at this level of ignorance.
Confused?
