It’s not hard to find God contradicting Himself in the Bible. Those who are looking for excuses not to submit to God like to compile lists of these contradictions and say, “See! God is a hypocrite! Who needs Him?!” The problem with this argument is that what they’re really saying is, “I shouldn’t have to believe in God until I approve of how He operates.” Well, no, this isn’t how it works. No one will escape the torments of Hell by pulling out the “but I didn’t approve” card. God doesn’t care if we approve of His methods or not. He simply introduces Himself to us—contradictions and all—then He DEMANDS that we submit to Him. If we defy Him, He retaliates by torturing us forever. We might think this system is unfair, but God thinks it is fabulous.

Are we at FSTDT sure that Anna here isn't a Poe? I mean, from what we've posted from her here, she's made no effort to hide her acceptance of the fact that her god is an evil, sadistic prick, yet she still expects others to follow him .
When you attempt to submit to contradictory demands, you will end up submitting to one and denying the other. By the kind of logic you've demonstrated before, this means that God is going to punish us even if we worship him because we end up being unable to follow every contradictory demand he makes of us.
You are not giving anyone a good case to believe in him, if his entire raison d'être is to torture us no matter what the fuck we do.

I am sure Anna is not a Poe. One of her posts is addressed to men who are thinking of castrating themselves in order to avoid temptation. She thinks this is a really bad idea. A Poe or a troll would not. Also, she has turned off the comments in her blog. Ditto.
There are many Anna Diehls on the internet and quite a few of them are Christian to some degree. I would be hesitant about digging up stuff on this particular Anna Diehl. We know from a previous quote that she got raped and thanks God for guiding the rapist to her door. Anything else we find might be even more sick and tragic.
You know, it seems Anna worships the SMT YHVH.
By now, with all that she's described, you'd think even the likes of The Accuser and Gabriel would step in and tell her;
"Anna, dear, look, this isn't a healthy relationship."

And here lies the problem many people, myself included, have with "the man upstairs". That whole infinite punishment for finite crimes thing.
To me, it sounds almost like a parent locking a child in their room for the rest of their lives, simply because the child said 'No' when told to eat their broccolli.

Weird, this is the first fundie comment I can actually see the point of. If you believe in the existence of the Christian god and the bible being true then her views make perfect sense. I'm an atheist so I ignore the bible but if it was true the only sane reaction would be to blindly obey the omnipotent sky-toddler.

I mentioned on another of her quotes that I think she's already getting therapy and it's not working. The quote in question was literally "it's not your job to do the job you were fucking hired for", which would imply that she's lost a lot of jobs herself from her delusions about God telling her shit like "no don't help this man, I want him dead by Sunday so I can torture him for catching the disease I infected him with and needing your help", but as far as I'm aware we haven't seen anything from her crying persecution over such a refusal to actually work causing her to lose jobs, which implies she doesn't work and someone else is taking care of her. The only possibility that I see that wouldn't restrict her Internet access over her insistence on sharing with us everything about how God is the ultimate sociopathic toddler is that she's in the crazy house.
