And here, we see the fundie mindset revealed. Unfortunately, it also appears to be shared by African-Americans (yes, I'm still sore over Prop. 8. See if we EVER help you again, you ungrateful twits), Mormons (but then again, you lot were a lost cause anywho) and Republicans (Meh - no surprises there, folks). Hence, the three-steps-back mentality surrounding LGBT rights.
Step 1 back - Prop. 8 passed, after a long and deceitful campaign on the part of the religious wrong.
Step 2 back - Barack Obama invites the notorious homophobe Rick Warren to officiate at his inauguration.
Step 3 back - Obama indicates that Don't Ask Don't Tell is NOT on his to-do list to get rid of, after all. Like a typical African-American - says the nice words when he needs our help (and votes), but can't bring himself to actually lift a finger to help the "dirty gheyz".
