Actually, Anti-Sodomy laws were on the books across America up until 2003, when they were determined unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. And Gays were arrested constantly throughout the 50s and 60s just for their sexuality.

As much as I hate to say it, Hate Speech is protected by the First Amendment, so you don't have to worry about your bigoted preachers being silenced. However, the fact that more and more people are becoming accepting of gays just means you and your ilk will become more marginalized in the coming years.

Um, no. Part of living in a democracy means letting any controversial topics or beliefs be determined by vote. Also, the government has a wonderful system of checks and balances to guarantee protection from any possible tyranny of the majority. And homosexuality is normal, in the sense that it can naturally occur in nature, no matter how hard you try to deny it.
Look how many times the voters vote against gay marriage, and every election it keeps coming up or they find some liberal-loving judge to declare the voters' decision as "unconstitutional" and change it."
I really want to go into how the LDS, Catholic, and Evangelical churches get involved whenever a referendum over gay marriage is held in any state by spreading fear and lies about gays among the voting public, but that will take too long.

Sorry, but no. Gays only want the same marriage rights heterosexuals have. Heterosexual marriages will still be honored, only now gays will also be able to get married.
