My ministry spent a summer in Africa in 2005. There were alot of sick people in the villages we visited. For the most part, these people could not get medical help for their ailments. We healed at lest 300 people that summer through prayer and scripture-readings. On one occasion, a secular and self-proclaimed "compassionate" doctor was treating an AIDS-infected child. Even though he claims that he was servicing the village for free, his intentions were obviously sininister. He didn;t even once pray to God during the procedure. He even had the nerve to tell a few of my ministers to leave the hut. He would't even let them pray over the child and read verses from the Bible. Well, thankfully my ministers had the courage to drag the doctor out of the hut so that they could let God work His will.
Thank God they removed the doctor, because that child was miracoulously healed that very day!
My ministry will be going to South America this coming Spring. I'll keep you updated.

This guy is either a troll, a Poe, or a liar.
And even if he is telling the truth (I use that word lightly), he damn sure isn't telling all of it.
Pastor CRETIN !
Gotta be a poe.
We healed at lest 300 people that summer through prayer and scripture-readings.
Paraphrased another way - they died. (Well, at least they weren't sick anymore.)
As for the story about healing the child with AIDS... Liar! Unless you mean that the miraculous healing was in the form of the child's death.
Surely the poor child died and you deprived the village of a wonderful doctor. By the way, if prayer is so effective, according to you, why is that so many African Christians die of AIDS anyway or go to the HOSPITAL?
person right above me: Aw, don't you know? All those rules are for OTHER people!
Abortion? "Oh that's murder." But its ENTIRELY different when its their own daughter.. I mean, that's not the same at all. Gawd wouldn't want them to lose social standing and look bad in front of the congregation, they were supposed to control that 13 year old till they could get a dowry! OBVIOUSLY their gawd is just testing their patience with not disowning her. Its just a clump of cells.
Except when it happens to anyone else. Then its a precious precious baby that they want to murder so as to appease the devil.
... or at least that's how I figure they're justifying that sort of hypocrisy
I'm reasonably intelligent. Don't take me for a cretin.
Frankly, I just don't believe a word. To drag a doctor away from a patient would be a criminal act and I doubt it would be let pass without sanctions being applied.
Your God, apparently, could not work a 'miracle' because of a mere human? Isn't he supposed to be omnipotent (Latin: Omnis = all: Potens = powerful), so why should a doctor's presence matter in any way?
Naw. I don't believe a word of it. Pure phantasy.
Pastor Martin Cretin ?
Surely a poe?
The missing pieces of truth.
..We healed at least 300 out of the 2500 total people that summer through prayer and scripture-readings. 250 of whom had also saw the doctor. And 48 of those naturally fought of their illness. 1 was making himself sick mentally. But the last we we definately got..Thank God they removed the doctor, because that child was miracoulously healed that very day!

It seems the doctor must have done something to make it seem like the Aids had left the child. Two week later he could hardly stand, lost his vison and started to rot will alive. He died shortly after. I no God allowed this child to die because of the doctors interference.
Is that his real surname, or an indication of his general intelligence?
Or has our esteemed posse been fooled by a poe, yet again?
Some short version of my living will:
If I should ever get so sick I can not speak for myself anymore - please, send me a Doctor of medicine, not this clown! Oh, and since we're on the subject - pull the plug if there's nothing that can be done for me!
I really wonder what 'procedure' the doctor could have been giving a child afflicted with AIDS in a hut. AIDS treatment involves medicine in the form of pills taken regularly (which sadly are in short supply in that region). The only thing that could be counted as an AIDS tretment procedure would be a transfusion to remove large amounts of the virus and supply the body with working CD4+T cells for the short period of time before the virus got the them. As far as I know it's an uncommon procedure and very expensive since you'd need large quantites of clean blood of the same type, which is hardly a commodity in Africa.
Aside from that, eh, who am I kidding? Your entire post is bullshit.
It appears Pastor Martin Cretin is no longer on the site. He's not listed among the members, and his post in that thread is no longer there.
Looks like he was removed for trolling. In this case, calling Poe is well-founded.
Why do the prayers have to be said in the kid's hut? Is God suffering from Alzheimer's? Does He have trouble remembering who the prayers are for unless the person is right next to the people doing the praying? In fact, why even go to Africa? Why not say the prayers right there in Bumblefuck, Arkasas? It seems like God should be able to hear them as well from there as from some hut in Africa. Also, how can the presence of the doctor keep God from working His will? Would God have just let the kid die if the people didn't pray and the prayers changed His mind? I thought God was supposed to know the future. Pastor Martin needs some work on his theology.
This is a lying for Jesus one. He's inventing very weird stories(believe me, a lot of devout and keen on praying people die of AIDS), but also, he's not factual. Even if the doctor was a philantropist, one of the things people in Africa complain about is that AIDS meds are difficult to get and expensive, specially in the middle of the wild jungle. So, he couldn't be curing the child in a bleaked hut. And by the way, many people who earnestly pray(and let doctors do his job), do it in their homes too.
This is obviously BS. If it's not I'm surprised they could get away with dragging a doctor from his patient.
What's truly sickening is the cretins replying with the whole "praise god!" BS.
Do these people actually, truly, believe this sort of thing helps?
Searching for 'giveloveministries' it is apparently run by a Martin -Chretien-.
Somebody decided to troll AND poke fun at the rev, it seems.
Poe? Please?
If not... How long did the healed people stay healthy? People can be "cured" from the mass hypnosis of a tent revival, but instantly turn ill again after the euphoria wears off.
How is it sinister to want to treat AIDS-infected children using medical science? Medical doctors seldom pray to God during procedures, dumbass.
If you have scientific medical evidence that the child did have AIDS and was then cured from the praying, and stayed cured for several years, you'll get a Nobel Prize, ya know.
It's also notable that he's trying to counter some events where doctor groups have proven the harmful effects of missionaries and been able to have them removed to the bebefit of the village. Missionariesd have often been caught playing a little game of convert, comply or don't recieve the secularly donated supplies and medicine.
Confused?
