That's what most people don't understand, that sex is a way of saying 'i love you and i offer my all to you'. But by using birth control you're saying 'Yeah, I love you, but not enough to have children with you and I don't want you to have all of me because sure i love you, but I lust for you more."

what a creepy bugger. And also has clearly never heard of STDs. And is also clearly male (actually, I shouldn't draw that conclusion, based on the misogynist drivel that even comes from female fundies)
Oh yeah, this thread was interesting. A 26 year old guy from Oregon (who, incidentally, looks like he probably wanks to Pokemon) said "AMEN! I agree 100%" and went on to talk about how he's disgusting how easily available contraceptives are because more people need to be willing to suffer the consequences of having sex whether it's an STD or unwanted pregnancy. What planet do these people come from?
"Sure, I love you, but I don't want your parasitic genetic material ruining my life for nine months, only to pop out in a horrifically painful and embarrassing ordeal, thus to ruin my life for another twenty years."
Whatever.
It simply allows everyone to have fun without worry of pregnancy or disease.
It's a sign of respect, in my opinion. It's more accurately saying "Yeah, I love you enough not to trap you into becoming a parent -- and I want you to have all of me without a child getting in the way."
-- hyperbole, awaiting her two year anniversary in a happy, childfree marriage.

I agree...
"But by using birth control you're saying 'Yeah, I love you, but not enough to have children with you and I don't want you to have all of me because sure i love you, but I lust for you more.'"
Or maybe you're saying, "I love you enough to have children with you, but we should wait until we are ready to support them" or "I love you but I just don't want kids" or "I love you so much I don't want to give you this horrible disease I have from past mistakes"
Actually it is saying, "I love you and I am taking responsibility for what we do together." You remember responsibility, don't you? Its been one of the GOP's favorite things to talk about (if not demonstrate) for years.
Confused?
