If the Bible was written by people with not much knowledge about the world, why did they think the Earth stood on a solid foundation?
Job 38:12-13 - Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place, that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it?
If the Bible was written by people with not much knowledge about the world, why did they think the Earth was flat and had edges?
Job 38:16 - Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep?
If the Bible was written by people with not much knowledge about the world, why did they think the sea came from underwater springs?
Job 38:36 - Who endowed the heart with wisdom or gave understanding to the mind?
If the Bible was written by people with not much knowledge about the world, why did they think wisdom came from the heart?
Job 38:37-38 - Who has the wisdom to count the clouds? Who can tip over the water jars of the heavens when the dust becomes hard and the clods of earth stick together?
If the Bible was written by people with not much knowledge about the world, why did they think monsoons came from giant water jars in the sky?
And remember, this is supposedly an omniscient God speaking in a book that is supposedly his infallible word. So it's guaranteed 100% accurate!
