AIDS first showed up in the heterosexual population in Africa, and it only spread into the gay population of America (and elsewhere) later .
The latter was primarily due to the rather prevalent (at that time) practice of casual promiscuity among gays in America, a practice that had arisen because gays who actually tried to have long-term monogamous relationships were more readily recognized by straights as homosexual and were treated abominally by straights for it. So, ultimately, straights and bisexuals were directly responsible for the excessive degree of the disease's inroads into the gay population much more than the other way around.
The reason AIDS was so quickly identified in the gay population was because of how small the population was. Check your stats, you waste of skin. Heteros with infected with the HIV virus and having AIDS, can't be explained away by your bigoted, narrow minded, small brained rant. FOAD!

Wait a minute? How are bisexuals responsible for straight people treating monogamous gays horribly and forcing them into promiscuity in order to stay in the closet?
While you're at it, thank the Reagan administration, which "overlooked" the existence of AIDS for a number of years. Their slow response made sure that no one would be educated about how to handle AIDS--for example, testing donated blood for the presence of AIDS/HIV.
And *I*, on the other hand, would like to thank the Religious Right for spreading ignorance about the disease, calling it a "gay disease" and saying that condoms are useless as protection against it. You guys aren't exactly clean in this either.
