although fireheaven you are wrong about how the dinosaurs died. it says so in the Bible, i believe with Peter, that "there were great beasts in the land" which could refer to dino's. i mean think about it loch ness monster, take a look at a photo of it or a detailed rendition of it; doesn't it look like a dinosaur. i mean i do agree that the oxygen and nitrogen levels went down after The Great Flood but that just made it so they did not live as long or grow as fast either. i mean humans have even suffered from it as well, if you lived in a oxygen and nitrogen content chamber that was suffienct to the pre-flood world even for a few months and it had the same electromagnetic field as the pre-flood you would be healthier. humans lived much longer and were so much bigger than what we are now.

Wait, what? A fictional creature was made to look like a real creature that once lived? You don't say! It's almost as if people used the imagery of the real creature to create and popularize their myth. I can't believe such a thing would happen, clearly it must be real and proof of your bible to boot!

Btw, the myth looks like an aquatic reptile (called a Plesiosaurs) that lived at the time of dinosaurs, but those ocean dwellers were not actually dinosaurs themselves. Further more, the idea that it looked like a Plesiosaurs was first proposed in 1933, after the since famous faked photo came about and it took on a life of its own from there.

Things like needing to have evidence and being able to repeat an experiment prevent things like this. That's why the peer review process is there you twit.

Or, you know, hippos or elephants or water buffalo or numerous other large land creatures. If it's the passage I think you're referring to, the description doesn't fit at all with dinosaurs.

The only good photo or "detailed rendition" of it was the Surgeon's Photo which was a hoax. Everything else shows an indistinct shape that could be anything from a large eel to a sturgeon to otters playing to debris floating on the lake.

The oxygen levels have been reasonably stable for the past few million years if I recall correctly. Far before your supposed flood.

We are larger now than our ancestors at any time in history. Better nutrition tends to do that.
