Honey, God's been on vacation for a while, and Heaven's middle management is full of pencil pushers. Auriel ain't bad, but he's a Seraph, and he hangs out by the Garden, so he's pretty out of the way of all the dicks.

steve, why is it so wrong to think that there might NOT be a "higher power"? we dont calim to be the ultimate authority, only that there is NO ultimate authority controlling every aspect of our lives. its probably a comforting thought to believe that things are all going according to plan and that everything will be fine, but its frankly unrealistic. you know that whole "jesus helps those who help themselves" thing? well so does clementia. and so does "no god". because when you help yourself, you better your own position. instead of praising jesus for his help then going back to begging for jesus' help, atheists pat themselves on the back, then get back to it.
It appears we could say the same about you, Steve, since you seem not to be too concerned about casting the first stone, nor about the whole "Judge not, lest ye be judged" thing.
