All I know is, I've gotta slow down on buying more ammo, and save my coins for a good night scope. And another rifle. When that's done, it's ammo time again.

Wherever Liberty dwells, you'll find a gang of 'Patriots' hiding in the shadows with high powered weapons waiting to launch a campaign of terror and subjugation over issues they barely understand and threats that are utterly imaginary.

P.S.

Many so-called 'honour-killings' would be met with harsh criminal prosecution and often the death sentence in their homelands and "preserving family honour" is as cheap a justification for their personal vendettas as "she was dressed like she wanted it" is a justification for rape.

Edit:

Sadly an accepted excuse at one point in many circles in the justice system, met with well deserved rage today... despite the best efforts of 'moral guardians' that aren't out to protect anyone so much as torture them.

While reading a legal text written by a muslim in the past few years I came upon this:

"According to Muslim jurists the law and policies of the government must fulfill these interests, in descending order of importancefirst necessities, then needs, then luxuries. The necessities are further divided into five basic valuesal-daruriyyat al-khamsah: religion, life, intellect, lineage or honor, and property."

When I read it I wondered if the association of lineage with honor was where the phrase "honor killing" came from. In other words, the phrase may have an arabic, not a western origin.

300 million roughly are like that, a few million are not.

There is no way to escape the fact the US, after having for the last century or so, told the whole world they are the bestest country in the whole wide wooooorld and that Americans are exceptional, people are upset when it is pointed out that the US today is more like an old clunker of a car with a fresh coat of paint, once you chip away the new paint, you find a pill rotten society.

We all know the "Land of the Free" claim, funny when you consider the US has less then 5% of the worlds population but over 25% of the worlds prison population. It should be, in line with reality, called "Land of the Incarcerated" as you have a greater chance of dying behind bars in the US then in North Korea!

And when it comes to democracy and liberty, the US ranks 19 and is closer to Botswana then to #1 Norway, see the Democracy Index.

Norway scores 9.80, the US at 19 scores 8.11 and Botswana at 33 scores 7.63. Soon the US will be less democratic then Botswana!

And if you want to live the American Dream, move to Scandinavia, they are living it!

don't be an idiot, there aren't 300 million people in america that hold the same beliefs.
first of all you need look at the demographics of america because there are a large number of CHILDREN.
in fact i would say the population of america is mostly not the way you caricature it, not anymore than france is full of arrogant snobs, ireland is full of drunk angry micks or england is full of uptight wimps.
some people see it that way, but they are morons.
stupid people are loud, angry gun toting stupid people are even louder.
i think there are morons in my country but i don't see them as defining america, anyone who thinks so is a moron, whether you are in this country or not.
