Yeah, because atheists and agnostics are all incorporeal beings that don't have to deal with the consequences of political decisions. Atheists and agnostics are immune to unemployment, hunger, and war. Or you're a moron and you just want to deny people that disagree with you the right to vote. But if you do that then the right to vote is as worthless as a vote in North Korea. They too like to deny (on pain of "mysterious disappearance") those that disagree the right to vote.

PROTIP: Just 5% of the population of Sweden are regular churchgoers. Less so in Denmark. According to polls & surveys conducted by the EU, the Czech Republic is the least religious country in Europe. For such a country - a post-Soviet Bloc collapse one, that instantly embraced Capitalism, membership of the EU, and NATO. Also Democracy - they're doing just fine.

Actually, I care quite a lot about how my country will survive, unlike certain religious whack-jobs who believe their god will poof them up into heaven when everything's being destroyed. I also don't like the fact that people who would like to see the first amendment violated vote, but there's little I can do about it.
This is why we should make our children pass the same citizenship test administered to immigrants. Those that fail are too stupid to vote, They can go back to watching Fox News and Entertainment Tonight and let the grown-ups worry about the real problems.
We might even lose a few colorful Congressmen, but well worth it.

I believe that there will be citizens (irreligious or otherwise) who care about their country. (I know nothing of the context.) You've got to be freaking kidding me if you deny any citizen of legal majority the right to vote. Just so you know I'm agnostic, but that doesn't affect me a bit when it comes to the ballot box.
Because atheists dont have to live in the community, or pay taxes, or use services... except we do.
And unlike you, we atheists actualy see a need for personl accountability and responsibility, because we know that no magical sky daddy is going to fix things for us.

That's funny. In this country of mine, we let prisoners vote. Even if you're a convicted murderer, we still don't take away your chance to have your say in politics.
Why? No matter what you are, we realise we're citizens, and as citizens, we have equal rights and responsibilities. It's got nothing to do with whether you're in a minority or the majority.
This is the new idea of GOP.
Get rid of everyone who disagree with GOP, take away their right to vote, doubt their citizenship, force them to obtain special ID's, intimidate voters at the polls, attempt to disenfranchise anyone promoting greater democracy.
The current version of GOP has no interest in democracy, only to get their politics implemented at all cost, screw democracy - we want it our way and if the voters don't agree, fuck them!
