While it is true that a decent percentage of black slaves in Colonial America were bought from various African civilizations (in particular the three big civilizations of West Africa; the Mali Empire, the Ghana Empire, and the Songhai Empire) they really weren't selling "their own people". The slaves they sold, to my knowledge, were largely from neighboring peoples and kingdoms, such as the Igbo kingdoms, not their own.
Just like the vikings (who I'm sure you idolize) didn't think of the English nuns they were raping, monks they were enslaving or just killing for sport, monasteries and villages they were looting and burning, and, of course, slaves they raped and abused on a daily basis, and then gang-raped and brutally murdered to mark the death of their chieftains, as "their people", despite all of the aforementioned victims being fellow whites.
Also, the white slave owners didn't "educate them," or "elect one as president", and their "training", as you call it, was purely an accidental result of all the forced labor that they were forced to do. Stop trying to defend slavery, you piece of shit.
What #1582427 says about selling neigboring peoples. Whites did this to other whites - the word "slave" in English and a number of other European languages is related to the word "Slav" because of the frequency with which Slavs were held as slaves in West and Central Europe.
As for what happened in the US, the President is not a descendent of slaves; we didn't have slavery in 1961. The rest is no more accurate.
I can remember racist a-holes "spreading the news" 'way back in the fifties about some Africans selling some other Africans into slavery. We were all supposed to gasp and...what? I could never figure that out.

Well, because they think of black Africans as basically a single monolithic entity and Africa as basically a country the size of Belgium, they don't grasp the concept of slave-trading civilizations capturing and selling prisoners of war from other, different civilizations, since, the way they see it, all civilizations involved were made up of dirty niggers so what's the difference?
Also, factor in the fact that they see anyone who isn't a racist as some sort of liberal strawman who literally thinks that black people are perfect angelic beings, as opposed to just normal human beings just as flawed as whites. So they think it will just come off as some huge shock that these neighboring 16th Century kingdoms raided each other despite having similar skin colors, because of course 16th Century African kingdoms attacking each other despite having similar skin tones is completely different from 16th Century European kingdoms attacking each other despite having similar skin tones, because the only race of people who can have different countries and cultures are, of course, white people.
