If the Devil makes people homosexual, he makes people heterosexual too.
I sure as fuck wasn't born heterosexual. If I was, then why is it that I get a boner from thinking about guys and not girls? If all people are naturally heterosexual, then why is it that I have no natural attraction to people of the opposite sex? Answer me that.
For the umpteenth time, you've just succumbed to sin and temptation. I have succumbed to temptation for men multiple times, and I really wish I could just go spend the rest of my life with another guy, but the fact is that I can't. I can't because my God says so, and I obey him.

So, in other words, you're a self-hating gay. You should join a club. Make sure to invite Larry Craig, Ted Haggard, and George Rekers.
Then your Gobs is a döuche and should stop obsessing over what you do with your genitals.
You know, you should try fapping--it reduces the risk of prostate cancer.
If the Devil makes people homosexual
(*Graffiti found on toilet wall *):
'My mother made me a homosexual'
(*Written underneath *):
'If I get her the wool, will she make me one?! ' X3
...oh, and 'If. ' [/Spartan Laconic Wit]
This is depressing.
Amidst all the other abuses LGBT people face, I nearly forget that there's people like this who really make themselves suffer because of whatever doctrine they follow. Frustratingly, he even refuses to answer to how orientation might not be a choice--he always goes back to the 'who you choose to sleep with' and 'temptation' BS. I wonder how he'd answer if asked why he hasn't been able to feel attracted to a woman like he is to men, despite all his pious devotion to Catholicism and God. Why follow a god who tests and tortures him so?
With such a self-punishing mindset, I worry for where this man will be in five years' time. I really hope he comes to a less painful belief system and allows himself a happy life with a partner.
I could just go spend the rest of my life with another guy, but the fact is that I can't. I can't because my God says so, and I obey him.
And you can't see why this would make your god evil? If he created you, then he created you as a gay man. This kind of thing makes him come off as some sort of psychopath who feels glee in tormenting his creations.
Protip: Straight people do not feel 'temptation' for their own gender. At all. It's kind of like how I thought seeing something 'in someone's eyes' was just an expression until I realized I had Asperger's. You're not straight. You never were. So is this really what you think God wants, to bar you from someone you love?
One thing is that you don´t act in the feeling, because you feel it´s a sin but the problem is, why do you like men and not women?. That´s the problem, you can´t change that. For it to be a sin, it has to be something you choose(and why would you choose it, anyway?)

"For it to be a sin, it has to be something you choose..."
- Not necessarily. In the gospel of Matthew, Jesus is quoted as saying that to even look on a woman with lust is the moral equivalent of adultery and to even get angry with your neighbor is the moral equivalent of murder (chapter 5). People do not choose to feel lust or anger, it just happens. Thus the system is rigged so one cannot avoid sinning.
If it weren't rigged, fundamentalist Christianity would be obsolete.
And do you kill people that work on Sunday? Kill entire towns if anyone within is worshipping another god? Your god says so, you know.
Kill People for Working on the Sabbath
The LORD then gave these further instructions to Moses: 'Tell the people of Israel to keep my Sabbath day, for the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant between me and you forever. It helps you to remember that I am the LORD, who makes you holy. Yes, keep the Sabbath day, for it is holy. Anyone who desecrates it must die; anyone who works on that day will be cut off from the community. Work six days only, but the seventh day must be a day of total rest. I repeat: Because the LORD considers it a holy day, anyone who works on the Sabbath must be put to death.' (Exodus 31:12-15 NLT)
Kill the Entire Town if One Person Worships Another God
Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)
Having been married to someone like you for five years of my life (well, he wasn't and isn't a fundy, but his religious upbringing made him believe he had to be hetero when he clearly wasn't ...) I don't know who I feel more sorry for: you or the unlucky woman you plan on pretending you actually want to spend the rest of your life with.
Have you ever considered that a god who so desperately wants you to be unhappy may not actually deserve to be worshipped by you?
So Marquette is either bisexual, or a self-loathing gay man.
God & Satan have nothing to do with it.
Furthermore, I feel really bad for this person. It must be awful, living like that.
And this right here is a prime example as to why Pascal's Wager is absurd.
If there is no God or if God isn't the heartless bastard that fundamentalists insist he is, trying to follow an extremist conception of him carries with it serious consequences. It is not "nothing" to deny essential aspects of one's core nature, such as one's sexuality. If this life is all we've got, doing so is tantamount to effectively consigning one's self to hell for the whole of one's existence.
How sad.
That's sad...
You don't feel anything for women, Marquette, or do you have temptations both ways?
If you don't have any temptations for women, it's incredibly inconsiderate towards a woman to pretend to love her. Is that really what your God says you should do? Isn't there something in the Ten Commandments about Lying? Is there anything in the Ten Commandment about which gender to succumb to?
Confused?
