No, it's because of too many people on the planet, usually fueled by Christians who believe that using any form of birth control or abortion is totally wrong. So I guess it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
But let me know when the dragon with seven heads and ten horns appears in the sky. I would like to see that.

So. We're all going to Hell because we clean up "superfund" sites, have cleaned up the Great Lakes, and stopped spraying DDT, and installed scrubbers on smokestacks? Even if I Believed any religious claptrap I would be forced to utterly reject this poor freak's premise that we should just trash the whole effing planet.
I think I'll take my chances putting my faith in the human ability to use our wisdom, knowledge, and imagination to fix the shit we break. We have overcome our stupidity in countless ways so I don't see why we can't apply all our abilities to clean up of the atmosphere and oceans. It's just a matter of scale.

It's not going to happen, so you fundies had damn well better help clean up this planet and stop or slow climate change, because if the sea level rises enough some islands will be covered with water, and some of them have people on them.
