The actual base of New Age is personal. Each New Ager can pick what works for them, not what anyone else imposes on them. Any religion, treat it like a LEGO sculpture. take it apart, use what you need, abandon the rest. So, New Agers pick from Christain religions, Eastern, European, or Monopoly.
I knew a New Ager who considered himself Catholic and a wizard. Another attended lay services for non-denominational Christain services and checked the sermon with his tarot cards later.
MOST Of them aren’t even slightly Christain. Astral travel to meet their spirit animal or their otherkin representatives, and their shrine to the Goddess has a centerfold taped in place. But it’s not unheard of.

Awww. Poor snowflake. It’s bad enough there are people in the world who aren’t Christain, and those who aren’t Christain of your flavor, or aren’t Christain/your flavor/ ENOUGH, now you learn some people have their own interpretation of the Holy Paper?

That’s the entire point of New Age. that is the cause. No one cares what YOU read out of the Holy Paper. Not you, not anyone else. Just the practitioner.

And that’s YOUR cause. A New Ager would say, more power to you to live YOUR religious views as YOU see fit. Just don’t pretend anyone else has to care…
