Just goes to show you the founding fathers were right the first time: women should not have been given the right to vote. They are obviously swayed by emotions, not rational thought.
It was a mistake to amend the constitution and now we are paying for it.
The only solution is to require women to vote with the permission of their husbands.

Fuck you sideways.
All you fundie morons voted with your emotions, so don't talk to me about women only voting emotionally. Your response certainly wasn't rational.
Tell you what, you go ahead and take the vote away from women. We'll publish your address and see how long you last.
They are obviously swayed by emotions, not rational thought.
Has this become obvious to you during your 30+ years living in your mother's basement where you have had very little lasting contact with any women besides your clearly insane mother (why else would she put up with you)?
Because fundies are totally logical when they vote, and religion never enters into anything. And because only women vote for Democrats. Sexist moron.
Fail. Also, this isn't fundie, it's just retarded.
@ Paschal,
I like your line of thinking, but we need to clarify the criteria for fundie testicles. To start with, they are full to bursting, and hardly ever been used.
Ladies, I wouldn't like mine harvested in error.
Well, since I married someone who isn't a dick and wouldn't tell me what to do, but trusts me to think it through and make my own decision then I guess that wouldn't make any difference to me, apart from the fact that you would need a time machine to go back to when women had no self-esteem and were taught from a young age that their brains were inferior - really wouldn't like to try and tell a load of normal women that now, now fundie women of course are still under this delusion, but not much longer my friend - the times they are a changing :)
Yeah, that's why we let them teach, be doctors, drive, be senators and other jobs requiring rational judgement. STFU.
"They are obviously swayed by emotions, not rational thought."
The irony burns me.
"The only solution is to require women to vote with the permission of their husbands."
Robbing single women of their rights, and making a married woman's voting rights solely dependent on whether their marrital partner says that they are allowed to? Go to (your) Hell.
Fundies are not rational, male or female. They are all ruled by their overactive emotions based on illogical fantasies and fairy tale books. I would like to say that fundies should not have the right to vote, but that would be unethical. Still...
Are we to assume, according to you, that it's ok for someone as stupid as you obviously are, to vote as long as you have/are a dick?
And those uppity blacks too, right, since they obviously will vote for anyone who is black? We should take away their rights, too. Why don't you get the fuck out of this country you piece of shit.
Of course. Permission from the magical penis automatically validates any hare-brained effeminate opinion with a glittery dusting of humanity, something which it can never gain on it's own, obviously because it came from an inferior being.
It made my brain hurt to type that. Won't one of you take grandpa back to the retirement home? He's thinking it's 1901 again.
They are obviously swayed by emotions, not rational thought.
Emotion over rational thought, eh? I'm sure you have good rational reasons for supporting Prop 8, because all I've heard thus far is hysterical screeching of "THINK OF THE CHILDREN! THE CHILDREN!"
"They are obviously swayed by emotions, not rational thought."
Aside from the fact that this is a gross generalisation with little basis in fact. It could also be argued that many christians are swayed by their emotions and not rational thought and therefore using your logic should not be allowed to vote. However I find the idea of not allowing people to vote no matter how irrational they are, to be quite disgusting, as many reasonable people do.
The Founders also considered not letting the uneducated vote.
Personally, I'm cool with that, because it would exclude every one of these morons.
"They are obviously swayed by emotions, not rational thought."
You mean like a person who votes based entirely on the religious beliefs of the candidates?
*pulls out a rusty spork*
You know, I'm not really sure I COULD castrate you with one of these things. At least, not in a neat, efficient manner. But then again, I'm not really sure I want to go with neat and efficient when people think The Handmaid's Tale is an instruction manual.
People like you make me want to ammend your constitution to forbid men from voting since their testoterone presents them from thinking!
I know, just an angry idea. but soooo tempting!
Oh deary deary me. Whatever shall I, unmarried woman without plans of being so, do?
Oh, right, in your world, unmarried women don't exist, right?
Try it and feel my wrath, sad person.
Confused?
