"It was sad to see that the producers and writers would target the young kids with New Age, anti Christian themes. It was disappointing to see the Church (the Magisterium) portrayed as such a sinister and evil lot. The spirit counter-parts, the daemons, and the reference to them being locked into a form only when the child reaches accountability reaks of Spiritual child molestation. The imagination and creativity of chronicological children can flourish well into adulthood given an environment of nurturing and encouragement. The dark side of this movie reveals the antithesis of the type of care kids need. Shame on me for going and shame on the writers, directors and producers for blind-siding kids with this narrow minded, stifling model."
