Hi cloudrifter! Nice to see you here. You many not know that I'm a student of the Bible. I am devoted to learning.

If you have any questions about how the Bible was written, I would love to answer them. Having spent countless hours in study, I have this information at my fingertips.

I suppose where we differ is in our beliefs that the Bible is the Word of God, not man. I believe it to be the Word of God and inerrant, and to this day, there is nothing to prove that it isn't. So, you have your beliefs, and I have mine.

Not only has the Bible never been proven to be false in any way, discoveries continue to prove the Bible correct.

My belief that the Bible is inerrant is foundational to my belief in God and Jesus, our Savior. If you take just one thing and say that God didn't really mean what He said, you might as well throw the whole Book away because everything else will fall like a house of cards.

God said it, I believe it. We are all free to choose what we believe.

I have wondered why the constant attacks on religion from the atheists. Could it have something with how unhappy they are with the world? When they see others happy, does it make them jealous of our happiness?

This thread is an extension of the other because of all the posts about drowning polar bears. The truth was lost in fabrication, and I thought it needed clarifying with it's own thread.

What I have against the green lobbyist, or "greenies", is that their need to save the planet God gave us steps on the needs of real live human beings.

There is this scripture in the Bible that says in the last days things will get so twisted that wrong will become right. I think we're there.

GOD gave us these resources to use. He put us about the earth, plant life and all the animals by giving us "dominion" and told us to "subdue" them. He made it abundantly clear these things were here for our purpose.

Now people are losing their jobs, in a time that record numbers are losing their homes. Real people with real issues that need real help. It's not a question of "do I think green, or love the polar bears", it's a question of "do we love our neighbor as ourselves". It's a question of priorities.

In speaking with a Christian today...SOMETHING was pointed out to me concerning Radical islam and those who practice killing in the name of their god. Apparently, this was prophesied by Jesus himself and COULD very well be a sign of the End times.
