Things will change quickly. Do you remember where we were in 2015? An intimidating form of thought-tyranny was rising under the guise of "political correctness." This continued until God released a wrecking ball to the spirit of political correctness in the form of a defiant political outsider named Donald Trump. The bias of media has now been exposed, along with the adolescence and irrationality of Hollywood celebrities. But there is a counter-punch coming from the dazed and desperate spirits operating in and through the progressive ranks. They are reorganizing as we speak.

The name "political correctness" has been around since at least the 1980's, although the practice has been around for much longer than that. It has NEVER been considered polite to just blurt out whatever notions pass fleetingly through your mind, and it is especially dangerous when one comes to diplomacy. That's why we worry so much about the man who is soon to be our Boor-in-Chief.
Again, politically correctness only seems to hurt assholes who want to say and attack whatever they like while expecting no consequences. The second someone gets offended they squeel "you can't get offended at that, your being politically correct!" Who is being immature here?
In a politician, political correctness is a pretty good thing and your going to miss obamas careful wording over the next four years.
Face it, has anyone unironically identified as "politically correct" since the 1980s? It's nothing but a boogeyman of the right at this point. Plus, in an ironic twist, "politically incorrect" is nothing but a politically correct euphemism for "reactionary arsewipe".
What media bias has been exposed? What politically correct memes have been busted up?
Hey Lance, RightWingers losing their little minds over justifiable criticism is not Hollywood childishness or biased news. Your hero is demonstrably proven to be childish (daily yet) and against others voicing valid opinions. Right now you asses are going off about how Meryl Streep and Hugh Laurie should just shut the Hell up while you wait for the next Limbaugh rant about fatties.
We get it, you like lying loud mouthed racist sexist assholes and hate polite constructive criticism.
TRUMP! DEFIANT POLITICAL OUTSIDER! *WHEEZE*
Holy fucking shit, these people will eat up anything. They actually believe that Trump is going to do somethig different and revolutionary just because he said it in his campaign. The gullibility is amazing.
Rule 1: do not ever believe a single word a politician is saying during an election. That's like, Politics 101.
Why is it then, that the likes of Rowan Atkinson, Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie et al - from the 'Alternative Comedy' era of the 1980s, which eschewed previous racist & sexist material - are still huge stars and Bernard Manning: the basis of said previous material was reduced to performing at his own 'club', and died in obscurity, certainly media-wise?
How do you account for the likes of Morecambe & Wise, Spike Milligan et al: the basis of 'Alternative Comedy': and they were big before Manning.
Political Correctness has existed far longer than you think. Section 5 of the Public Order Act here in the UK is simply a natural progression.
Being the opposite will bite Donald Fart on the arse, one of these days.
But then, he's such a political joke he's already a parody of himself. Why do you think Rodney Dangerfield is the anti -Bernard Manning?
Things will deteriorate quickly, yes.
It's thought-tyranny to you to have to behave decently to others? That says more about you than you might want to express...
Oh, so constant and obvious lies, bullying, not paying either taxes or contractors, sexual harassment and incoherent rambling is more your style?
The orange clown is not a political outsider, he's an outsider, period.
The ones who behave adolescent and irrational, are Drumpf and his supporters. Not to mention, petty and bullying.
The new form of thought-tyranny seems to be that you can't say anything negative about Donald Trump. Anyone who does so is subject to late-night twitter rants and personal insults. Evidently, Trump can dish it out, but can't take it.
Sigh... asking people to behave isn't censorship or thought-tyranny.
Telling people that being a bigot is wrong and will not be tolerated isn't censorship or thought-tyranny.
Meanwhile, the party most known for censorship has a politician who is known for censorship in the vice presidency, the man that Trump said will be running the country while Trump does his own thing.
"Meanwhile, the party most known for censorship has a politician who is known for censorship in the vice presidency"
Yep, but Repubs censor people Christians don't like, so they're okay with it. It's only when they think they're being censored (because they can't walk around condemning people to Hell without being called asshats) that they rail against censorship.
Confused?
