Freemasons do not try to fool us, they do what they do in the open - you are considered by them too "vulgar" or too stupid to know better. Their idols are everywhere and you probably consider them patriotic monuments. For example, you, like many Americans, probably feel proud of your country and what it stands for when you see the Statue of Liberty and you believe what your teachers told you about it's origins - but this idol to the Sun god of the Masons, Lucifer in the image of Helios and the Mother Goddess Venus (or whatever historical name you want to call her by: Isis, Diana, Victoria, Columbia) is in the open and unrecognized by your untrained eyes. Even the plaque at it's base gives it's real origin away.

And, for some reason, you probably feel proud when you read the Bible, but the Bible contains horrific stories of murder, rape, torture and genocide, and claims that you we made from dirt.
I did read up on the origins of the statue of liberty, and I got this:
The Statue of Liberty National Monument officially celebrated her 100th birthday on October 28, 1986. The people of France gave the Statue to the people of the United States over one hundred years ago in recognition of the friendship established during the American Revolution. Over the years, the Statue of Liberty has grown to include freedom and democracy as well as this international friendship.

The Statue of Liberty originally called Liberty Enlightening the World symbolizing liberty in the form of a woman wearing flowing robes and a spiked crown of seven spokes (symbolizing the seven oceans and the seven continents) who holds a torch aloft in her right hand and carries in her left a book of law inscribed "July 4, 1776". The broken chains, symbolizing the overthrow of tyranny, lie at her feet.
Originally conceived as a gesture of international friendship, the statue has become global symbol of freedom.

The statue was given to America as a symbol of friendship from France. Nowhere in either of these two credible articles did I find anything about Satan or any bullshite godess.
Even the plaque at it's base gives it's real origin away.
Yea, it was given to us by France as a gift. The plaque itself says so.
The Masons worship the sun? That's news to me, and to my Masonic member husband. The Masons DO require belief in a divine being of SOME sort, so atheists aren't eligible to be members. However, they don't name the god(s). On the other hand, at my husband's lodge oaths are taken on a Bible...don't know what they would do with a Muslim member; perhaps allow a Koran to be used.
Also...I wish people would learn the difference between "its" and "it's". Bugs the heck out of me and you see it so often. :(
No it's the statue of Liberty and it was made by the French, not the Freemasons. By the way, Freemasons founded this country, so I guess by your fucked up logic America was founded by Satanists, not Christians.
There are real Masonic symbols connected with the early history of the United States, such as the eye in the pyramid and the Washington monument.
Why does this guy choose to rag on the non-Masonic Statue of Liberty instead?
Gee, I wonder what these poor people would do when they realize the statue that adorns the top of the dome of the U.S. Capitol is also a woman, named , and I think aptly, the Goddess of Freedom.
This was from a professor at my college, when I took a class on mythology of the world. He said that the Statue of Liberty is actually a representation of Isis (who became Diana and etc on down to "the Great Goddess" of the Wiccans).
I don't know if it is completely true, but, I learned about it in a class at a college. Therefore, I'm more apt to believe it is a statue representing Freedom in the guise of Isis opposed to thinking it is a symbol of Satan.
The professor in the class pointed out all kinds of Kemetic representation throughout the world (hour relating to Horus, Paris being par Isis, etc). So, it was all interesting, and, since a curriculum got passed allowing it's teaching I'd find reassurance believe mythology evolved that way - as opposed to believing Satan did it all.

Interesting stuff. Of course, what I find interesting on historical and artistic grounds, the RR crowd find Satanic. But that's a fairly common and repeating pattern I find.
Venus was never a Mother Goddess. And since Diana was a virgin, neither was she.
Victoria? What tidbit or myth or trivia gave birht to a Victoria as a mother goddess? Could someone explain, please? I'm confused.

There's some truth here, wrapped up in a mantle of bull$hit.
I do remember reading at one time that the designer of the Statue of Liberty was a Mason. Many influential men were at the time.
Also, you will notice that Columbia, pictured above, is extremely similar to the Statue of Liberty. Both figures are carrying torches, making them "light bearers" - and hence, Luciferic/Prometheian icons. No big deal. It's just a mythological motif (a metaphor for divine knowledge).

Juno would like a word with you about that 'Mother Goddess Venus' thing. Really, uh, you're just throwing names together. Also, Diana was the equivalent of Artemis, and definitely not a Mother Goddess EITHER. Try again.
That said, I loled.
You guys are the "smart" ones, indeed! :)
And tracer, the Founding Fathers were either Freemasons or had ties to Freemasonry. America is not and never was a Christian nation, it has merely accommodated Christianity.
And as far as the Statue of Liberty being "Satanic", I didn't say it was, but I did say it was an image of "Lucifer". Do a little research. :)
Angelica Einstellsehn, the thread that ties these "goddesses" together did not originate with me. I didn't throw these names together on my own and, if you care to research it, there are many authors that make a connection between these goddesses and others.
"There's some truth here, wrapped up in a mantle of bull$hit." - funny thing, Darth Vader, when you say the same thing about the statue, it sounds so much less like bull$hit than when I say it. :)
Salvation, eternal life, is a free gift (Roman 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9) through Jesus and only through Him (John 14:6). Ask for eternal life, it's free (John 6:37; Romans 10:13) and turn from your old lifestyle and live to God - He'll give you a clean slate, a new life - you'll be forgiven and forever so (2 Corinthians 5:17).
blah blagh blagh, fundie babble, fundie stuoidity, fundie insanity!
It worries me that these people vote and affect society

What a compelling argument! ...And no one should be worried about you?
This coming from a man who's quoting from an old magic book
So, the intelligentsia thinks the Bible is like an old grimoire? The commentary on this site is funnier than the fundy quotes.
