My son has been in Scouting since he was 6. The points you bring up I can more than amply supply. My son and I have talked this over many nights and it was his decision NOT to remain in Scouting if it turns Gay. He has plenty of friends from his Martial Art classes and the rifle range, among his many activities. I think lacking for friendship will be the least of his worries. I was raised in the woods on a farm. Whatever Scouting can teach, I can do better from what I've seen in the past 3 years that he has been in. They really don't teach what you need to survive anymore. It's all about trying to keep a room of rowdy boys quiet enough so they actually learn something.:( Because of the Gay influence, Scouting will cease to exist. I say that cause sooner or later, an adult Scout Leader will be indicted for brutally raping little boys on campouts and get caught. Then, instead of it being about the boys, it'll be about his rights as a Gay person when in fact, being Gay is what would have lead to this problem in the first place. AND because I do love my son, I will shield him as much as possible from something like that happening to him.
