Once assisted suicide is accepted in law and culture, the premises of radical autonomy and allowing killing to alleviate human suffering would conjoin, unleashing the irresistible power of logic that would push us inexorably toward the humanist nirvana of death on demand.

Hunting foxes probably is less cruel (and reliable...) than all the snares and poisons, but they're OK because nobody 'enjoys' that.
I don't see the problem with a radically autonomous humanist nirvana if it alleviates suffering. Once we had that, we could help foxkind set one up.
Damn those humanists! Trying to alleviate human suffering, the nerve! All good fundies know that suffering is a good thing because ... wait, wait, don't tell me ... um ... well, because they say it is.
"the irresistible power of logic"
I am encouraged by the fact that you admit logic is irresistable. Many people still attempt to resist it, but maybe in the long-run you'll be correct. I hope so.
The rest of your post show a very poor understanding of the pro-euthanasia position.
What is radical autonomy? Having control of my body? My life?
Once assisted suicide is accepted in law and culture, and jupiter aligns with mars, only then shall Thundarr the barbarian, with Ookla the Mok, and Ariel beside him wander the desolate wastelands driving their slaves before them and listening to the lamentation of the women and children, so arise children of the beast, be strong and shout at the devil in all forms and be tempted not by low prices but wait for the sale!

Coordinator (Michael Palin): 'Crucifixion?'
Prisoner: 'Yes.'
Coordinator: 'Good. Out of the door, line on the left, one cross each.'

I don't see any mention in the Bible, of Jesus using his powers to strike down the Romans who assisted him in his suicide, to save himself in the process, therefore your argument is invalid. [/smartarse]
...oh, and what Incubusion said.
Confused?
