[Re: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama#Personal_life " target="_blank">Barack Hussein Obama</a> possible run for presidency]
Do the American people want a muslim for a President? Lord, I hope not.

Barack Obama is Christian, fucktard.
And, personally, I'd have absolutely no problem with voting for a moderate muslim for president, just as I'd have no problem voting for a moderate Christian, or a moderate Jew.
You all worship the same damn god!
When will these fucktards get that: An arab-sounding name does not mean muslim person! If I recall correctly the most populated Muslim majority country is Indonesia, so if you must label Muslims with a face, arab is not 100% accurate.
Anyway, the only thing we can be sure of is that a Muslim president can't be any worse that a Fundie one :(
If I were an American citizen, I'd want a sane, rational president dedicated to the interests of the people and maintaining the constitution. I'd expect him not to let religion cloud his judgement of political decisions, but otherwise he could believe 50 foot invisible green elves walk among us for all I care.
Setting aside that fact that Obama is not a muslim, if a muslim were president I would have no problem with it as long as s/he left his religious delusions out of his/her job, just as I hope those deluded by any other religion would.
Wow...I didn't know Barack's Dad was running for president too...
No, wait, wait, his Dad, in spite of a Muslim upbringing, is an atheist. So who's this Muslim that could get voted in?
It was because of these newfound understandingsthat religious commitment did not require me to suspend critical thinking, disengage from the battle for economic and social justice, or otherwise retreat from the world that I knew and lovedthat I was finally able to walk down the aisle of Trinity United Church of Christ one day and be baptized
Read the article yourself next time.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there something about the US NOT having a religious test for the job of president?
As long as he or she doesn't try to force his/her religion onto others, it ought not to be anyone else's business.
Confused?
