One thing I`m not going to argue here is the need to end this retarded hypocritical notion that we`re all just friends if our political and religious values are incompatibile. We are not, in fact it`s healthy to say we fucking hate each other`s guts. Our values are incompatibile, no side can achieve their utopian state while the other existis inside the same country. This is a simple statement of fact, denying it will only serve to increase the social entropy we`re seeing spilling onto the streets.
Now that being said, either we can all start talking about mass migrations or we stil have to cooperate on any common points for this thing called society to continue to work.

Having said that, I struggle with the role I want Trump supporters to play in my life. Frankly, since at least W, the Republican party has been absolutely insane and opposed to basic civil rights for far too many people. Trump is not normal and should not be treated as such. Unfortunately, I know a lot of Trump voters. Most of them would not say they are racist, but they voted for someone who used racist dog whistles and has a white nationalist for a top advisor. Either they don't know what is going on or they are OK with racism. Neither one of these qualities is acceptable in someone I have deep connection with. Of course I can be civil to Trump supporters because I am an adult, but I don't know that I can consider someone who voted for Trump someone I respect or have a deep connection to.
