I normally don't think someone actually deserves to die, but I make an exception for Fred Phelps.
So, whenever there is a tragedy, you´ll say that God hates us. Well, according to your logic, God has been hating humankind since always.

We need a conspiracy with the local police. When the WBC turn up at a funeral, get yer local police chief to make them stand in a certain spot for their picket (for health and safety reasons)...conveniently though, it'll be a spot we've rigged with a few IEDs.

I seem to recall for one of his stunts a counter protest was formed...the Angels something...I'm very fuzzy on the details, so I could get a lot wrong here, so if anyone can clarify, it'd be greatly appreciated. Basically, they dressed as angels, with huge wings, surrounded Phelp's little cult, and sang loudly to drown out the hate filled comments they were spewing. Unfortunately, protest laws as they are now prevents the Angels from interacting with WBC, so it loses it's effectiveness, but still, somewhat inspiring.
And I love the message of "You're all fucked any ways, filthy sinners...so I'm gonna yell it as loud, and as often as I can" Save your breath, jackass, and spare us your apocalypse fantasies.

Phelps may be a twisted, narcissistic media whore, but at least he is honest. None of this nauseatingly insincere, "We Christians don't hate homosexuals. We love them. That's why we want to cure them." nonsense for Phelps.
Phelps may be the one prominent fundamentalist who is able and willing to say, "I hate everyone who does not agree with me, and so does God."

Oh please, please, PLEASE tell me whoever is preventing them from going to either of these places can be convinced to stop. I would simply LOVE to have these guys try and pull the shit they pull here in places with FAR less forgiving laws regarding speech. Let them have a taste of the persecutin they seem to crave...without the chance of suing the perpetrator back to the stone age.
