Of course it would. The Swastika is as symbol used in false religions in Asia. It was also used by a movement claiming to be Christian, but they killed innocents...

Nice, a fundie finally gets the Nazis weren't a bunch of atheists but a bunch of people claiming to Christians.

So not very many, you're saying. If you picked 7 humans at random, odds are 6 of them will say "I don't believe in that stuff", or maybe even "Jesus was cool, but I don't like his followers."

Probably wouldn't last much past 1900, especially after Brazil would abolish it. It was already a dying institution, and all it would take is people more interested in industrialisation which works poorly with slavery to deal the final blow, that and the soil was being exhausted in many states. Speaking of Brazil, the Confederate States of America would basically be an English-speaking version of 19th century Brazil mixed with Apartheid South Africa. If people realised the Confederate States version of the South would be a shit place to live in no matter your race (unless you were rich, of course), I wonder how many people would defend it?
